Mo Liuxi looked down at her in disappointment, but he realized something was amiss. “No, you had your arms around me just now.”

Yan Su didn’t say anything, but she was blushing now.

Mo Liuxi laughed when he saw the look on her face. He turned her around and kissed her domineeringly. “You miss me.”

Yan Su didn’t answer.

He was often in her dreams. Did she miss him then? Yeah, it was sweet and romantic every time she did meet him in her dreams, but when she woke up, she hated him whenever she thought of him.

She bit him in frustration, and Mo Liuxi winced in pain. “Ouch. Why did you bite me?”

“I just wanted to. Can’t I?” Yan Su’s cheeks were puffed up.

Yan Su pushed him aside with force and said grumpily, “I’m going to the studio.”

Mo Liuxi lay on the bed and watched her get up from behind. He was grinning now. The phone rang; it was Luosang. “Are you coming back soon? We’re leaving for Leifeng Pagoda in a few minutes.”

“…Not yet.”

Luosang was annoyed. “I thought I texted you yesterday on WeChat?”

“I didn’t see it,” said Mo Liuxi, rubbing his ears. “You guys go ahead. I’ll come by around lunchtime. There’s nothing much to see at Leifeng Pagoda. Are you hoping to see the White Maiden?”

“Isn’t it one of the major sightseeing spots in Hangzhou?” Luosang was quiet. “Come back soon. We’re going to Wuzhen at one in the afternoon. We have to get there before evening.”

“We’re going to Wuzhen?” Mo Liuxi was frowning deeply now. Did that mean he wouldn’t be able to spend the night here again that night?

“I thought I told you on our way here.” Luosang sounded frustrated on the phone. If he weren’t her biological brother, she would tell him off right away. “Weren’t you listening to us at all? What have you been thinking about?”

“…I was thinking about the script.” Mo Liuxi sounded a little sheepish when he answered her. “Can I skip this trip…”

Yan Su overheard the conversation in the bathroom. When she was done washing, she said, “Go back quickly. Think about how you’re going to come clean about An Ning as well. I have something to tell you as well. I think if we want to take things further, we have to be honest with one another.”

Mo Liuxi grabbed his hair in frustration. The last thing he wanted to do was talk about An Ning, that b*tch.

“Go be with your family,” Yan Su sighed. “After patching things up with my family, I realized how important family is. You should spend more time with them if you can.”
