Nian Xi was unhappy. It was her first time being rejected by him.

“But Fang Qi is really nice. Think about it. He put in a good word for you in front of me,” Nian Xi said. “If she’s single too, I think we can introduce them to each other. “So you have a childhood sweetheart too?” The longer the conversation lasted, the more information Nian Xi got out of him. She wasn’t happy to know about it.

“You’ve never mentioned that to me,” she said.

“That’s not important. She’s not my ex-girlfriend.” Jiang Yuning started to set up the robot.
