Why did Nian Junting go all the way to her apartment so late at night? Was he jealous of her because she had peeled grapefruits?

“My brother has the key. Just open the door,” Nian Xi waved her hand.

Jiang Yuning opened the door. Nian Junting’s cold face grew even colder when he saw him.

“What are you doing here so late at night?” He said.

“I…” Jiang Yuning blushed when hearing that question. What happened when he first came in flashed through his mind, made him feel shy. “I’m here to…”

“Why are you so mean to my boyfriend?” Nian Xi walked over, pulled Jiang Yuning behind herself, then said to her brother, “We were out on a date tonight. We watched a movie together. He got me a lot of stuff toys from the crane machine. I couldn’t carry them all up here, so I asked him to carry those toys for me.”

“Yeah? Why is his face so red then?” Nian Junting narrowed his eyes, observed the two. The two people were still neatly dressed. However, based on his experiments, he could tell for sure that something happened between them just now. Thankfully, he arrived on time. If he came a little bit later, something worse might have happened between that young, horny couple.

He would never let the boy take advantage of his sister before he even proposed to her.

Nian Xi gave her brother a glare, said, “Do you know what time is it now? What are you doing here? Why aren’t you home with your wife and kid?”

“I came here to give you a surprise check,” Nian Junting changed his shoes, walked in, said, “Sangsang will come home at twelve. Apple is sleeping. I have time.”

Nian Xi’s mouth corners twitched slightly. She understood.

Sangsang wasn’t home, so he came to discipline his sister.

“Oh, the picture you sent me earlier,” Nian Junting took out his phone with a smile, said, “Why the background looks like a bed? Didn’t you guys go for a movie?”

Nian Xi fell into silence.

She was so eager to show off to her brother, that she didn’t pay attention to the background in the photo at all.
