Even after they got into the car, Jiang Yuning still looked upset.

“What’s wrong?” Nian Xi finally detected that something was probably wrong with him. “Is your stomach not feeling well?”

“No…” Jiang Yuning raised his head. His vivid red lips moved slightly, but no sound was uttered.

“Just tell me.” Nian Xi furrowed her brows slightly and said, “If you don’t like hot pot, you can just tell me.”

“It’s not like that. I like the hot pot that has two different types of soup.” Jiang Yuning unhappily dropped his head and said, “I ate the spicy one again, but you didn’t give me another kiss.”

So in the end, he thought she kissed him before to reward him for eating the spicy food. No wonder he kept asking her to feed him. He wanted her to kiss him again, didn’t he?

Nian Xi almost burst into laughter.

“So you ate it on purpose? I didn’t know,” she said.

“I didn’t…”

Jiang Yuning felt embarrassed.

Nian Xi looked at him, raised her brows and said, “You are a man. How can you always want me to kiss you? I already kissed you twice.”

Jiang Yuning stopped short, then said in confusion, “Nian Xi, what do you mean? Am I… allowed to kiss you?”

“Guess.” Nian Xi blushed slightly, then started the car.

Jiang Yuning blinked and said, “I don’t have the guts to mess around. If I guessed wrong, the consequence would be unimaginably bad. You’re such a tough girl. I’m afraid you might beat me up for kissing you without permission.”

Nian Xi wasn’t happy to hear that. She had even forgotten to step on the gas.

“Who’s tough?” she said. “I’m not tough. I’m a tender, sweet, adorable girl.”

Seeing her getting mad, Jiang Yuning hurriedly changed his words. “Yes, yes you are. You are sweet, lovely, tender, pretty. You are the most perfect girl I’ve ever met.”

“Do I have any flaw?” Nian Xi curved her lips into a small smile, with satisfaction.

“No.” Jiang Yuning shook his head quickly.

“You have great taste.” Nian Xi happily rubbed his head and started the car again.

Jiang Yuning dropped his head, then put his hand on the area that she had just touched. It was so comfortable.

Was he really allowed to kiss Nian Xi?

Would she hit him? That wasn’t important though. He just didn’t want her to be unhappy.

“Which cinema are we going to now?” Nian Xi asked him, “Where is it?”

“Here.” Jiang Yuning hurriedly showed her the address that Uncle Han had sent him.

“This isn’t a cinema. This is a private theater.” Nian Xi instantly recognized the address.

“What’s the difference?” Jiang Yuning didn’t understand.

Seeing the curious look in his eyes, Nian Xi figured that it was probably Uncle Nian who booked the tickets for him. Uncle Han was such an old fox. It was the first time they went to a movie together, and he picked a private theater. If she was going with another boy, she would have started to worry. However, Jiang Yuning was different. He was so innocent that he didn’t even dare to kiss her.

If her appetite for him was aroused, she would have to restrain herself in the theater.

The theater wasn’t far away, and the traffic was light. It only took them about twenty minutes to drive there.

Nian Xi parked the car, then prepared to get off. Abruptly, Jiang Yuning called her, “Xi…”

“Yeah?” Nian Xi turned back to see his face. Before she could react, he gently pressed his lips against hers.

The colorful lights on the street shone into his long eyelashes and shy eyes. He looked so pretty, like an art piece crafted by God himself.

Nian Xi’s heart skipped a beat. She stayed motionless, waiting for him to make another move.

The moment was so perfect for a romantic kiss.

She spent quite a while waiting, but he wasn’t moving at all. His body wasn’t as tense as it was at first though.
