“When did I say that I’ll marry you?” Nian Xi said to him jokingly.

Jiang Yuning felt embarrassed under her gaze. “I didn’t say I’ll be saving my money for you,” he murmured.

“What?” Nian Xi had very sharp ears. She was not happy to hear that. She leaned toward him aggressively, said, “You’re not saving your money for me? Whom are you saving your money for then?”

Under that threatening look in her eyes, Jiang Yuning shrank toward the window, curled up his body. He sniffed at her, then said, “Xi, you smell so nice.”

“Are you trying to distract me?” Nian Xi lowered her head further and further, attempted to burn him with her sharp eyes.

Jiang Yuning stopped trying to avoid her, but stared at her straight in the eyes. She was coming closer and closer to him, and his heart was thumping.

Abruptly, Nian Xi realized that she couldn’t go anywhere closer to him, or her lips would land on his cheek. Instantly, she felt a little awkward.

As she prepared to move away, Jiang Yuning suddenly held her arms and said with a weak voice, “I want that person to be you, if it’s possible.”

The two of them were so close to each other. His eyes were sparkling before hers. His skin was so tender, and his pretty lips looked pink and soft.

How could a boy’s lips look so beautiful, even without lipsticks?

Nian Xi was awfully tempted by his good-look. She fixed her eyes on his lips, then leaned forward and gave him a kiss.

Jiang Yuning popped his eyes. He heard thunders from inside his head.

That was just a shallow kiss, but he felt so overwhelmed.

Her lips tasted great. However, the kiss happened so fast that he couldn’t even react.

Nian Xi realized what she had done. She even wanted to crawl under the car.

She kissed a man on his lips!

His lips were so soft, though. Those lips were like jelly.

That was probably because he spent most of his time in the lab, without exposing his lips in the sunlight and the wind.

Seeing the boy widely opened his eyes, looked like a baby deer, Nian Xi coughed awkwardly, then said with a dry voice, “I’m probably too thirsty.”

“You are thirsty, so you kissed me?”

‘You have already kissed me once, so why don’t you kiss me again?”

Jiang Yuning sounded not so happy.

Nian Xi had her face reddened. In for a penny, in for a pond. She decided to be thick-skinned. “I kissed you, so what. What’s the big deal?”

“You have to be responsible for me,” Jiang Yuning gathered his courage, said, “That was my first kiss.”

“Didn’t you give your first kiss to your parents?” Nian Xi snorted.

“That was my first time being kissed by a girl,” Jiang Yuning touched his own lips, said, “I’m yours now.”

Nian Xi didn’t know what to say.

She didn’t foresee that result.

“I didn’t force you just now. You kissed me yourself.” As Nian Xi stayed silent, Jiang Yuning said with a grievance.

“You’re right.”

Nian Xi spent a short while in silence. She felt as if her head was aching. She planned to take it slowly. Why on earth did she kiss him without thinking?

He was good-looking indeed, but she should not kiss him just like that.

She has a handsome brother. Her sister-in-law’s brother was handsome too. She should be immune to good-looking boys.

If Nian Junting knew about that, he would definitely laugh at her.

“Okay, I’ll be responsible for you, but, don’t tell anyone else about it,” Yan Su said to him with a very serious look.
