Yan Su’s sallow face instantly turned ghastly pale. She raised her head, looked at the man who was standing under the bright light, looking like a ghost.

Many of them might not be true. Well, guys usually say mean words to attract girls’ intention. You want her to care about you, even if she might hate you.”

For the very first time, he was hearing some convincing arguments from Nian Junting.

“Thank you. You’re not such a shallow person.”

After saying that, he left.

Nian Junting looked at his back with discontent.

How dare that kid use the word “shallow” about me? He deserves to be dumped.

Nian Xi drove to Jiang Yuning’s. She saw him from a distance.

They were going to court today. Jiang Yuning was wearing a black plaid double-breasted suit. His shirt and tie were neatly ironed. The black suit looked beautiful against his fair skin, making him look like an energetic, outstanding young man, even more glamorous than the morning sunshine.

She drove up to him. Jiang Yuning got into the car with a big, sweet smile. “Xi, morning.”

“Morning.” Nian Xi was affected by his beautiful smile. “You look good today.”

Blushing, Jiang Yuning said, “Didn’t you say that we need to appear in court as witnesses? We need to dress formally for that kind of occasion.”

“I found that you have a great taste,” Nian Xi said honestly. “I’ve met quite a few scientists and most of them haven’t got any fashion sense. They dress sort of old fashioned.”

“Uncle Han picked out the suit for me.” Jiang Yuming felt shy hearing the compliment.
