Growing Fond of You, Mr Nian Chapter 1152 – Mr. Jiang, Long Time No See

Jiang Yuning didn’t seem to hear that but kept walking.

Fang Qi recalled that he had always been absent-minded. No one ever knew what he was thinking. He rarely heard people talking, unless that person was Nian Xi.

So, he hurriedly pushed Nian Xi and said to her, “Call him, now.”

Nian Xi didn’t expect to meet Jiang Yuning here. She was stunned. She had complicated feelings toward him.

He was the most simple-minded man she had ever met, and he liked her. She had even refused him once.

He might have felt weird about that, though, so he never contacted her again after he got back from France.

As Nian Xi stayed silent, Fang Qi walked up to Jiang Yuning and said, “Mr. Jiang, Nian Xi is here.”

Hearing her name, Jiang Yuning paused briefly, then his eyes glowed brightly.

He didn’t look around immediately but quickly looked at himself.

“Mr. Jiang, what are you doing?” Fang Qi was confused.

Jiang Yuning got nervous. He breathed quickly, and his ears turned bright red. He wanted to take out his pen, but he didn’t think he had enough time for that. With no other choice, he said to Fang Qi, “Mister, please tell me how am I looking?”

Fang Qi felt as if was damaged on the inside. “You look nice. You are very handsome. But, don’t you know me? I protected you for a week in France. We lived together. I’m Nian Xi’s colleague.”

“You look familiar,” Jiang Yuning nodded. He remembered Nian Xi told him to be nice to her colleagues.

Fang Qi wanted to cry.

Nian Xi walked in at that moment, greeted Jiang Yuning, “Mr. Jiang, long time no see.” Jiang Yuning held his breath. She wasn’t in uniform. She was wearing street clothes, looking sexy and fresh and clean. She was as pretty as ever.

Seeing him stare at her as he always did made Nian Xi want to laugh.

“What? Was your mind traveling through the universe when I was talking?”

Jiang Yuning spent a short while staring at her, then abruptly lowered his head and took out a pen and paper, wrote—’Not long.’

Nian Xi was confused at first, then realized he was responding to what she had said earlier. “Not long?” She said, “It’s been nearly half a year.”

‘I went to the police station to see you a lot. You just don’t know,’ Jiang Yuning thought.

As he stopped talking and writing, Nian Xi felt a little bored. So, she waved a hand and said to him, “Go and teach your class. I’m going to work.”

She finished talking, then turned and walked away. But she only took one step before someone grabbed her shirt from behind.

She turned and saw Jiang Yuning holding a corner of her shirt.

He seemed to be a little panicked, trying to find a piece of paper to write something. Nian Xi took his pen away and said, “Stop writing. Just talk to me. Didn’t you hear the class bell? So many students are waiting for you. I don’t understand why are you here teaching classes while you hate talking. Do you communicate with your students through your will power?”

Jiang Yuning pressed his lips together, then said to her with a clear and warm voice, “Come to my class.”

“Why? I have no interest in physics,” said Nian Xi.

“I’ll teach astronomy, then.”

Nian Xi was speechless.

Could a professor teach anything he wanted?

“I’m here to investigate a crime,” Nian Xi said.

Jiang Yuning dropped his head disappointedly, then said, “Where are you going for the investigation? I’m going with you.”

What a strong-willed professor.

“Professor Jiang, this isn’t appropriate. Those students are all here for you.”

“I can’t see them,” Jiang Yuning shook his head and said, “I only see you.”

Nian Xi blushed.
