“Where are you going? The ward is that way.” Mo Liuxi looked at her. “You seem so absentminded.”

“I was… thinking about something.” Yan Su saw his bloodshot eyes and asked, “Were you here the whole night?”

“Em.” Mo Liuxi moved his thin lips. He wanted to say something but didn’t.

Nian Xi came out of the ward and waved at Yan Su happily. “Yan Su, you’re here. Come and see my lovely nephew.”

Yan Su walked into the VIP ward. It was large, including a guest room and a kitchen. Luosang was lying on the bed, her face ghastly pale. However, she was awake.

Nian Junting was sitting by her side. Next to them, was a cradle.

Yan Su walked over to look at the baby. He was in a deep sleep. His little lips were curved, looking adorable. The baby looked a lot like his father. He had a straight nose and delicate lips. He would certainly become a handsome boy.

Looking at the baby, Yan Su’s heart nearly melted. She almost freaked out thinking she might be pregnant but looked at the baby again and her fear was gone.

Having a baby seemed to be nice.

Seeing her staring at the baby, Nian Junting said blandly, “Stop looking at him. He’s like a wrinkled little mouse. I thought that I, Nian Junting, would have a perfect little baby, but in the end…”

Before he could finish, Luosang pinched his thigh.

“Don’t you say that about my little apple.” Luosang glared at him.

Nian Junting was upset. His wife never looked at him like that before. Now, his place in her heart had gone straight down to the bottom.

“Luo, are you aware that this little thing made you suffer so much pain. You got six stitches down there. It was all his fault. He’s too fat, so you went through hard labor. The contractions started at 6:00 p.m. yesterday, and you gave birth to him at 11:59 p.m. This little b*stard. I was in despair out there waiting for you. If your father and mine didn’t stop me, I’d have torn that door into pieces. If anything had happened to you, I’d definitely make him suffer too.”

“Junting…” Luosang held his hands, feeling touched. If the room wasn’t full of people, she would have kissed him.

Yesterday, she was in the delivery room, suffering severe pain. Still, she heard Nian Junting yelling out in the hall. His yelling lasted as long as her pain. The hospital even had to send a doctor to comfort him in.

Nian Junting looked at her in the eyes affectionately, expecting her to say something to comfort him. However, he heard her saying, “After all, little apple is your son. Be nice to him.”

“No. I’ll be nice to you, and that’ll be enough.” Nian Junting glanced at his son with dislike and said, “You don’t be nice to boys. You make them strong. When he learns how to walk, I’ll teach him martial arts. In the future, our son and I will protect you.”

Nian Xi covered her eyes in pain and complained, “Can you two please think about how other people may feel? There’re a lot of single people in this room.”

She was so jealous of Luosang. She wanted to get married and have a baby.

Yan Su laughed. Luosang was indeed lucky enough to make people jealous. Even though she married a little too early, her man who cared only about her was worth it.

“He was born at 11:59 p.m.?”
