“Ignore this crazy woman. Let’s go.” Rong Yebai dragged Su Qianxun away.

Su Manni watched them leave. She clutched her purse so tightly that it became misshapen. Eventually, she took a few deep breaths. Her daughter would win the award every single time no matter what happened. As long as she made sure everything went smoothly for her daughter, she would be fine.

As for her plan to deal with Su Qianxun, she could wait till after the award ceremony, once her daughter won.

When Su Qianxun walked out of the hospital, Mrs. Xia was waiting for her at the entrance. Spotting the woman, Su Qianxun furrowed her brows slightly.

“Do you want me to help you deal with her?” Rong Yebai asked.

“Not necessary, you go ahead first, wait for me in the car.” Su Qianxun knew Mrs. Xia’s temperament. No matter how much she disliked Su Qianxun, she would not do anything to her.

Seeing that she was so confident about this, Rong Yebai returned to his car.

Su Qianxun looked at Mrs. Xia.

“Qianxun, Chuxi and Yiren have already gotten married. Yiren is pregnant. She’s a good daughter-in-law. We are a happy family. I hope you won’t insert yourself and disrupt our family life,” Mrs. Xia said.

When Su Qianxun was about to get into Rong Yebai’s car, a black sedan stopped in front of her. The car door opened. Long Sijue dragged her in and shut the door. The car drove off.

Long Sijue did all those things within ten seconds. By the time Rong Yebai got out of his own vehicle, the car had already sped away. Enraged, he kept shouting and cursing, “F*ck, Long Sijue, what a sneaky bastard!”

Su Qianxun turned back to look at Rong Yebai, who was furious. She said, “I haven’t tried the clothes he’s prepared for me. What if none of them fits?”

“Have you really decided to wear those clothes?” Long Sijue asked as he furrowed his brows and stared at her.

“Yeah, what’s the problem?” Su Qianxun was genuinely confused by what he said. ‘Why shouldn’t I wear the clothes that Rong Yebai prepared? Did he settle that for me?’

Long Sijue did not speak.

“If not, what should I wear then?” Su Qianxun looked at him, puzzled.

“I’m telling my people to get some clothes for you, see which one fits,” Long Sijue said.

Su Qianxun was surprised.

She sensed that he had been acting strangely today.

Gu Ling’s leg was broken. After Tang Zui released him, he had been staying at the hospital. Gu Mian did not have much to do lately, so she visited him once in a while.
