He jumped up and shouted at the top of his voice, “Stop. Stop the exploration into the Deep Earth Fortress. Everybody, retreat. Retreat from the Deep Earth Fortress and the debris of the Inferno Fortress. Prepare for the first-degree battle. The enemy might show up at any moment!”

The experts and the expedition team were still reveling in the ecstasy of finding the entrance of the ancient tomb. Everybody was analyzing and calculating the data transmitted by the probe crystal cameras wholeheartedly. Li Yao’s roar slightly startled them, but they did not react so quickly. “…What?”

“Hurry up and put on the mustard suit, crystal suit, giant soldier, and all the defense magical equipment that you can find!

Li Yao was so excited that his voice was almost twisted. “Get as far away from the two wretched supreme fortresses as possible!”

Although they did not know what was going on, everybody had almost instinctive trust in Li Yao’s instincts as an expert in the Soul Splitting Stage. Before they realized what was going on, their bodies had activated all kinds of defense magical equipment from their Cosmos Rings out of reflex. The exploration team that was trying to enter the Deep Earth Battlesuit stopped temporarily, too.

This action had saved many lives.

One minute after Li Yao finished his sentence, all the starships detected a terrifying high-energy reaction deep inside the lifeless fortress. The super space fortress, which was on the verge of death, still had the strength to struggle. Part of the fuel and ammunition that had not exploded yet were detonated brutally!

The remains of the fortress immediately turned into a swirl of destruction.

It turned from a lifeless gray into a dazzling orange. Flames that looked like magma spurted out of the narrow and long cracks and swept everything nearby in streams of high-energy particles. Then, it turned into an enormous light ball, which suddenly expanded to hundreds of kilometers nearby.

In the vacuum of the universe, the blast was not very threatening. But after the entire star fortress was shattered, countless pieces rushed out at a high speed and momentum like a storm of bullets.

Not just the Thick Earth Fortress, the debris of the broken Inferno Fortress had exploded, too, creating countless terrifying traps around the exploration fleet and on their way forward.

There was no way that so much fuel and ammunition could have been left on the remains of the fortress and exploded simultaneously.

Unless somebody had planted a lot of crystal bombs on the debris on purpose.

It was a trap that Lu Qingchen had set up on purpose.

Maybe it was true that the collision between the two satellites had wrecked the two supreme fortresses, but with Lu Qingchen’s ruthlessness and craziness, how could he lose two fifths of his combat ability without doing anything about it?

The debris and meteoroids hit the shell of the starship one after another, raising glamorous flowers of energy. The atmosphere inside the cabin was quite depressing.

Everyone knew that Lu Qingchen’s plan was not so simple.

It was the ‘Battle Fortress Phantom Sea’, one of the five supreme fortresses that was best at stealth and mental attacks!

The two fortresses were attacking the exploration fleet from the front and the back. They did not conceal themselves at all, nor did they calculate any route of retreat. Instead, they charged at the exploration fleet unstoppably at the highest speed and with the fiercest bombardment. A lot of space shuttles and crystal suits were released from the two supreme fortresses, too. They were like dense bees, trying to draw close to the exploration fleet under the cover of cannon fire and meteoroids in the most chaotic and time-consuming ‘boarding battle’.

“Has Lu Qingchen… gone mad?”

Li Yao’s eyes were wide open, watching the absurd scene. He had no idea what was on Lu Qingchen’s mind at all.

Although the five supreme fortresses were impressive and the culmination of thousands of years of resources and technology of the Holy Alliance, in the end, they were just five ‘idiots’ with only one function.

Modern Warfare was more complicated and precise than ever. What mattered most was cooperation and system. In order to bring out the best performance of the Supreme Battle Fortress, countless divine shields, arsenals, and Giant God Soldiers were necessary. Lu Qingchen had none of them. Led by Ding Lingdang, dozens of Giant God Soldiers were deployed to the battlefield. They turned into colorful streaks of brightness and charged at the two supreme fortresses in front and behind them under the cover of their own cannons.

For the enormous and clumsy star fortresses, the Giant God Soldiers were their natural enemies. Once they crawled into the body of an enemy Giant God Soldier, they would be like a big dumb elephant whose nose had been dug by a small mouse. They would not be able to perform any techniques at all.

The only thing that could stop the invasion of the enemy soldiers was their own soldiers.

However, according to the information that Xiao Ming and Wen Wen gathered, the number of Giant God Soldiers that Lu Qingchen and the five supreme battle fortresses took away was not large. There were definitely no more than ten of them.

The people of the Sanctuary Alliance were never best known for their individual combat ability. The tactics of their Giant God Soldiers were rigid, and they lacked a distinctive personal style. Ding Lingdang’s ‘Great Fire Dragon Sparrow’, Boss Bai’s ‘Extraterrestrial Pirate’, Long Yangjun’s ‘Crystal’, and dozens of burning Giant God Soldiers tore apart the spiritual shield and the airtight gate of the warehouse of the Supreme Battle Fortress effortlessly. They marched forward and started a massacre.
