Yue Tingfeng was focussed on Yan Qingsi’s eyes. Her eyes were bright and beautiful. However, it was glimmering with the light of greed. It was her very competitive greed.

She was hellbent persistent on only two things in her life. The first would obviously be vengeance. The other would be her career.

Yue Tingfeng felt her determined unbroken will, would actually be a good thing.

As long as a person has something to drive their will, at the very least, it fills one’s heart with hope.

Yue Tingfeng was worried that upon getting her long awaited retribution, she would have nothing left to drive her forward. If that were to be true, then what exactly would Yan Qingsi do next?

However, this competitive greed of hers would be a great thing. Her willingness to act, her insatiable greed, her drive to become the best actress, at the very least, she had a dream.

Yue Tingfeng laughed and said. “Look at you, you actually thought I was going to use my money to bribe in order to get the award you wanted? If your acting skills were terrible, and had I bought the award for you, you would’ve been ashamed to oblivion.”

Yan Qingsi patted his head and said. “Good boy.”

If her acting was painfully horrible, and even she was awarded the best actress, that would only be like the emperor’s new clothes, she was only lying to herself.

After her late night movie scenes were done, she went back to her hotel to rest.

“You’ll be sleeping alone tonight. Don’t even think about climbing onto my bed. I’ll be sleeping with your mom.” Yan Qingsi said to Yue Tingfeng while he stood behind her.

Yue Tingfeng…I…

He grabbed onto Yan Qingsi before she could open the door. He said. “Alright, I’ll be sleeping alone then, but you’ll still have to at least say goodnight right?”

Yan Qingsi flirtatiously brushed her fingers against the nape of Yue Tingfeng’s neck while raising her eyebrows as she stood on her toes to reward him with a kiss on his lips. She said. “Good night babe, sleep tight tonight.”

Just like that, the door slammed shut behind him. Yue Tingfeng was locked out of the room as he stood in front of the door, confused while scratching his head. Puzzled as to what had just happened.

He kept pondering about just how odd this situation was. His girlfriend spending the night with his mother did not sit well at all.

As Yan Qingsi entered the room, she noticed Mrs.Yue was not in the room so she called out to her. “Aunty…”

Mrs.Yue peeked her head out from the washroom.

“Oh, Qingsi you’re back. So, how do I look?” Mrs.Yue said.

Mrs.Yue leaped out the washroom, she was dressed up in a blue loose fitting sportswear. She even had her sneakers on. She was completely suited up for a mischievous escapade.

Yan Qingsi nodded and said. “Awesome, you look amazing. I think you have potential.”

Mrs.Yue nervously asked. “So, when are we leaving?”

Yan Qingsi looked at the time. It was not even 10pm yet.

“We’ll wait until Yue Tingfeng was completely asleep. I’m worried that he might knock on our door later.” Yan Qingsi replied.

Mrs.Yue sighed and said. “This boy, he worries too much. If only we had given him some sleeping pills earlier…”

Yan Qingsi cupped her mouth with her hands to hold back her laughter. She was afraid that if Yue Tingfeng had heard their conversation, he would be upset about it.

When it was exactly 12am, Yan Qingsi snuck out the room with Mrs.Yue alongside her. In order to avoid security, they went out through the fire exit leading to the backdoor of the hotel.

Li Mianmian was waiting for the both of them in a bread van that was parked by the road. He waved at the both of them to signal them toward the van. Yan Qingsi carefully led Mrs.Yue into the van.

As the door closed behind them, Yan Qingsi asked Li Mianmian. “Did you get everything?”

Li Mianmian replied while nodding his head. “Don’t worry, everything is well prepared.”

“Let’s get going.” Yan Qingsi said.

Mrs.Yue was trembling nervously as she said. “I’m really nervous. What do I do?”

Yan Qingsi grabbed onto her hands assuring her. “You’re not nervous, you’re just emotional. After this was done, you’ll feel much better.”

Li Mianmian had a glint of light in his eyes. He thought to himself that he too was emotional for his goddess.

To be doing mischievous deeds with his goddess. More accurately, he was doing something big with his goddess.

The van pulled up in the underground parking lot of the hotel chain. Yan Qingsi asked Li Mianmian. “So is this right spot?”

Li Mianmian nodded and said. “Exactly. You know how amazing the paparazzi are with their jobs these days. With a little money, knowing the exact address is nothing to them. Heck, they’re so good at their job, they’ll even get a shot the victims in bed.”

Yan Qingsi grinned, revealing a sinister evil smile. She said. “My darlings, buckle up and get ready, because this sister is going to show you a world of evil!”
