Yue Tingfeng was on the horns of the dilemma, to eat or not to eat?

Yue Tingfeng was struggling to restrain himself. ‘Why must I be so miserable?’ he thought. He rescued Yan Qingsi—now they are even. Whatever happened before is over. Let bygones be bygones. She had thrown herself at him and teased him. He could not keep his cool and allowed her to continue to be like this. ‘Gotta grow some balls’, he thought.

Who is he? Why must he suffer for a girl?

After thinking it through, Yue Tingfeng threw himself over her, pinning her down on the bed and stripped off her clothes.

Yan Qingsi let out a sardonic laugh and let go of her hands. He could sense mockery in her voice, jeering at him. “I knew you weren’t that goody-goody,” he said.

Seeing Yan Qingsi’s smug face, Yue Tingfeng lost his mood and desire. He let go of her abruptly and got out of the bed. He got dressed and walked out of the door without looking back.

He slammed the door shut with a loud bang. Suddenly the room became incredibly quiet. So quiet that Yan Qingsi could almost hear herself breathing.

Yan Qingsi went limp and dropped herself onto the bed. She was feeling incredibly conflicted. She knew very well that Yue Tingfeng was being very patient with her. She was just testing his limits by teasing him over and over again. She wanted to see when would he flip out.

To have Yue Tingfeng wrapped around her fingers, Yan Qingsi has to break his limits.

After a while, Yan Qingsi smiled. She was grinning ear to ear as if she has got something figured out.

Yue Tingfeng will be in the palms of her hands one day.

It was just a matter of time!

In this crucial situation, she had to continue to act tough. She had to show Yue Tingfeng what a hard nut she is. That would keep him eager. Just as the saying goes, treat them mean, keep them keen.

Eagerness would lead to perseverance. Perseverance would then develop into a special attachment.

Half of Yan Qingsi’s face was burning in pain. Her tongue, palms, and legs too were throbbing. She got up to shower since she had trouble falling asleep.

In the shower, she noticed that Yue Tingfeng had nurse most of the wounds on her body already. She paused for a moment before turning on the showerhead. Her wounds stung when warm water ran through them.

Yan Qingsi was calm. She was used to being hurt like that.

At daybreak, Yan Qingsi got changed and gazed into the mirror at herself. She looked pale but somehow she was okay with how she looked. It was time to head to the police station.

She opened the door and was startled. “You…”

Yue Tingfeng was leaning on the wall right opposite the door. A bunch of cigarette butts near his feet. He looked up at Yan Qingsi. His face devoid of any expressions but his bloodshot eyes were doing all the talking. “How heartless are you.”

Yan Qingsi… She thought that Yue Tingfeng would have left immediately under those circumstances. She did not expect him to be out there, on the other side of the door. She felt strange.

Yue Tingfeng pulled himself up straight. He charged forward with a dark face. Yan Qingsi thought that he wanted to punch her and was ready to strike back. But then, all Yue Tingfeng did was hissed. “Move.”

Yan Qingsi was stunned. Did he want her to move so he could come inside?

Yan Qingsi stretched her arms wide to stop him. “This is my room, why must I let you in?”

Yue Tingfeng snapped back, “I went inside you before. What’s the matter with going inside your room now?”

Yan Qingsi clenched her teeth. What a jerk he is.

“Just what do you want so early in the morning? You want to pick a fight?”

“F*ck you!”

“Go on, get lost!”

Yue Tingfeng pulled Yan Qingsi’s arms down forcefully and pushed his way into the room. He then raised his brows said provocatively, “I am inside.”
