Little Star didn’t need to spend the night at the hospital as the doctor had allowed her to be discharged and to recover at home, much to Tang Moyu’s relief. Although being in a hospital can treat her, Tang Moyu feared that others would find out about her children’s blood type and harbor ill intent on them. So, it was better for Little Star to recover at home, where she would personally look after her daughter. 

The less people knew about their condition, the better. And although Xiao Bao and Little Star needed to reach the age of eighteen before they could do blood transfusion for others, it didn’t mean that they wouldn’t be subjected to doctors who would want their precious blood for research purposes.

It was already past ten in the evening and past their usual bedtime. It was only natural for Xiao Bao to get exhausted by this time.

Once they arrived at her place in Peach Blossom Garden, it was Song Fengyan who helped her take Xiao Bao upstairs and tuck the twins on their own beds while Feng Tianyi waited, standing downstairs with a cane in one hand.

Tang Moyu had forbade him from going upstairs, for fear that he might lose his balance and fall down. Feng Tianyi understood it but still felt that he also needed to make sure that Little Star would be fine throughout the night.

“Mr. Song, thank you for assisting us today. I’m sorry we had to trouble you this late.” Tang Moyu said once she and Song Fengyan reached downstairs and joined Feng Tianyi in the sitting area.

She understood how busy the man was ever since they started Xiao Xing Diamond Co. He had been running around everywhere, working and delegating for the two of them, meeting their partners and personnel left and right.

“It’s no problem, Miss Tang. I just arrived when Tianyi received your phone call. I volunteered to come with him since I was also worried about the twins.” Song Fengyan brushed off Tang Moyu’s apology. 

Ah, imagine his worry when he heard that Little Star collapsed at their school and was rushed to the hospital. How could he stay still and do nothing when he knew Tang Moyu and her little buns needed help?

“Is Little Star okay now?” Feng Tianyi chimed in. “Are you sure you don’t need help looking after her?”

Tang Moyu had insisted that her little buns should stay with her in the main house until Little Star recovers.

“No, it’s alright, Tianyi. I’ll also stay here with them for a few days.” The empress replied, her right hand, rubbing her left arm. She had this habit whenever she felt distressed, something that the devil had noticed ever since he moved in with them. 

Feng Tianyi’s eyes narrowed. Why wouldn’t she say anything to him? It was clear that something was bothering her, but she chose to be mum about it.
