Divine Beast Adventures Chapter 122 – An Exotic Beast That Knows How to Grow Flowers

In the eyes of that ugly fish creature, the flying tiger seemed to be truly capable of flight, disappearing before its eyes and inflicting a severe wound on its body in the next second.

However, from what Zhang Che had seen, it didn’t seem like the tiger was flying, but more of a teleporting kind of ability.

Of course, it was impossible for an exotic beast whose strength was comparable to the Purple Jade Condor to have an overpowered ability like teleportation, not even as a skill.

The only explanation was that the flying tiger was too fast!

This vigorous beast had long disappeared again, appearing at the side of another ugly fish creature. Its front paw swiped out like lightning again, clawing violently at the second creature’s body.

The huge wounds nearly decapitated the ugly fish creatures. The severe injuries directly rendered them immobile, only able to struggle on the ground. Their mouths kept opening and shutting, like fishes on the verge of death.

As the water mist fell, the plants on the lonely island that was only about sixty meters across started collapsing inwardly, rotting at a speed visible to the naked eye, and finally turning into gloomy green pools of thick water.

Its sharp claws accurately swiped at the base of that ugly fish creature’s head like a surgical knife, scarlet blood flowing out like spring water.

Seeing this, Zhang Che sighed inwardly, and ordered the Purple Jade Condor to get further away from the island. “Ah Zi, back off a little more.”

Looking at the situation, there wouldn’t be any further suspense in this battle.

After eliminating all its foes, the flying tiger let out a low, proud roar. After that, it actually walked leisurely up to the corpse of an ugly fish creature, extending one of its paws, and started dissecting it.

Zhang Che was sure that the flying tiger wasn’t doing it for food, because that fellow’s eyes showed zero signs of emotion, as if it was doing a normal task. Its shockingly sharp claws cut the ugly fish creature’s head to pieces, allowing the dark red blood to splatter everywhere.

Zhang Che’s hairs were all standing on end!

– I’d better leave this freaking gods-damned place! If that flying tiger thinks that I’m a threat looking to snatch that bewitching flower in the middle and kills me off, then cuts me into pieces like that, I’d really be dying without a burial, countless times worse than being torn from limb to limb!-

The Purple Jade Condor had received Zhang Che’s order and was already turning to leave, beating its wings furiously when Zhang Che suddenly called it to a halt.

Zhang Che felt a gust of demonic wind blowing. His entire body felt cold, and couldn’t resist shivering. His eyes were filled with fear.

That wasn’t the end to the flying tiger’s actions. It kept going back and forth between the center of the island and the ugly fish creatures’ corpses, tossing them piece by piece to the vines. The vines would gather at once, seemingly afraid of falling behind, and devour the corpses cleanly, leaving only a small, broken pile of white bones.

– Could it be that this huge flower is being grown by this flying tiger?- Zhang Che now suspected, after watching this strange scene unfold.
