Pei Zhen’s emotions were in turmoil.

“It’s my fault that I didn’t tell you I’m Deputy General Manager.” With Pei Zhen, Fu Sichen never had any issues taking a soft approach. “I would like to sign you on.”

“Whatever for?” Pei Zhen remembered what Xiao Nian said about having to pimp himself. With a raised eyebrow, he was unable to hide his mocking smile. “And you wish to be my sugar daddy? I’m very expensive… P-Pei Zhen Studio?”

“Yes.” Fu Sichen was still quite expressionless. “I’ve registered this studio, and I’d like to sign you on. All the earnings from films will belong to you, and I’ll not take any commissions.”

“F-Fu…” Pei Zhen stammered.

“Are you surprised at the name of the studio, or are you surprised that I’m not drawing a commission?” Pei Zhen’s foot was still on Fu Sichen’s thigh, and Fu Sichen reached out to rest his hand on Pei Zhen’s shin. “I love you; will this reason do?”

Pei Zhen chuckled.

All the time that they were together, Fu Sichen had never used the word ‘love’. On hearing it, Pei Zhen’s heart pounded, and blood rushed to his face, turning him a bright scarlet.

Registering and establishing a studio wasn’t a matter that could happen overnight. Pei Zhen could only conclude that Fu Sichen had been working on it for some time.

He had thought way ahead in preparation of what might happen after they came out of the closet.

“Fu Sichen…” Pei Zhen’s grip on the documents tightened, and he choked with emotions. “I…”

No matter what people were saying on the internet, the fact was that Pei Zhen wasn’t in a bad situation even after terminating his contract with his ex-agency.

On top of that, his new boss had everything planned out for him and treated him like he was a deity. Things couldn’t be better.

On the day Pei Zhen signed into the new studio, his new boss was warm and hospitable, and insisted that Pei Zhen should go to his place for a celebratory drink.

Pei Zhen knew what his new boss was up to. On the one hand, he found it despicable; on the other hand, he went along with the plan.

Fu Sichen prepared the meal himself.

After they had their meal and drinks, Fu Sichen dragged Pei Zhen to bed on the pretext that they should have some physical activity to celebrate the second wind in his career. Pei Zhen was furious and wanted to show his middle finger.

Eventually, Pei Zhen was happily topped once, and though it felt good, he was tired. The bicycle ride in the afternoon was enough to make up for a year’s worth of exercising for Pei Zhen, and with a tilt of his head, he quickly fell into a deep sleep.

There were consequences of not keeping the boyfriend satisfied. Early in the next morning, before Pei Zhen was even fully awake and got it figured if he was to be at the filming location, he was once more topped by his unquenched boyfriend.

When Xiao Nian turned up to pick Pei Zhen up, he couldn’t help but remark, “Daddy, have you been nourished by love again?”
