Parker heard the commotion and ran back quickly. “Howl?”

Bai Qingqing spat out a mouthful of saliva and waved her hand at them. It was so sour that she couldn’t speak properly, and her voice was all blurry. “It’s fine. It’s just very sour.”

Parker’s nose twitched, and he ran over to the lemon that had fallen onto the sand, lowering his head and giving it a lick.

Parker let out a sound that was akin to Bai Qingqing’s, looking as if he had been frozen into a popsicle, unable to close his mouth.

Bai Qingqing kept on swallowing her saliva and laughed. “How’s the taste?”

Parker fell to the ground with a stiff body.
