The so-called Penalty Hall, was the place where the internal department trials and punishes.

The tiles were so bright they could clearly reflect anyone who walked past, and it is for that reason which made the whole hall even more bone-chilling, without a bit of warmth.

Every step on the tiles made crisp clicking noises, as if it was stepping on everyone’s nerves. The closer they get, the more terrifying.

A naked man kneeled in the middle of the hall, only having a rag wrapped around his waist to block some important body parts.

There was a metal chain the size of a baby’s arm tied around his neck, and the end of the chain was held by a muscular, ferocious-looking man. In the other hand of the man, there were two black belts. The difference in their physical sizes made the two seem like it was an owner holding his skinny dog by the leash.

Even animals used for their physical strengths in the villages did not require metal chains of this size. Clearly, it was Lea who had instructed to customize this torture instrument.

There was not a single hair on the man whose neck was chained up, but his skin was not smooth, filled with many tiny red dots all over. He looked like a chicken whose hair had been removed after being boiled in hot water.

Since he did not have clothes covering him, Gu Mengmeng could clearly see tattoo-like traces on the man’s body. There were various languages from different countries, and the patterns were not nicely arranged. Rather, it seemed like they were deliberately designed to look hideous on the man’s body.

The only ones Gu Mengmeng could identify were Chinese, English, Korean, Japanese, French, and many other symbols she did not understand, probably other smaller language types.

Gu Mengmeng did not recognize many other languages, but she still could recognize Chinese.

So, those enormous Chinese characters spelling out phrases such as “Demonic”, “Shameless”, “Guilty of Terrible Crimes” and “Wicked Beyond Redemption” allowed Gu Mengmeng to have a rough understanding of what the other words printed on his body were, despite not knowing those foreign languages.

While Gu Mengmeng was observing him, Elvis had already carried her to the only seat in the penalty hall, before placing her down.

Above the three steps positioned a seat like the King’s throne. The leader of Fiery Flames did not sit there, and neither did the prince of F country. Instead, it was a small woman like Gu Mengmeng, who was seated up straight there.

Elvis and Snake stood on Gu Mengmeng’s left and right respectively, while Lea and Gregory stood beside them.

Barete did not have the right to stand with them, so he stood below the steps towards the right, as a guardian position to protect against anyone who may suddenly attack Gu Mengmeng.

Obviously, since the past three months, Barete has stabilised his title of “Head Horse” in the Fiery Flames.

His aggressive warfare and absolute compliance had all established his position within the gang.

The reason was simple, he did not have his own subjective thoughts. Everything he had done, was all orders from Elvis or Lea.

He is the spokesperson of his superiors. All his actions are based on incitations from his superiors.

Furthermore, his skills were outstanding, and he had never rejected anyone’s challenges.

However, no one within the gang could win him.

He had attained recognition from everyone in the gang based on his loyalty and absolute skills.

So, the brothers within the gang also wanted to respect him.

No one knew when that position arose, but within the span of three months, there was this new position within Fiery Flames.

So much so that no matter when, he had always stood at the position closest to the superiors, but nobody felt it was out of his place.
