Gu Mengmeng lifted her arm and prepared to give this woman a second slap when her wrist was held back by someone.

Gu Mengmeng raised her head up abruptly. The person who was holding onto her wrist was not anyone else, it was Snakel.

He clamped his thin lips and locked his sharp gaze fully on her without leaving an ounce of it to anyone.

But that gaze was filled with disappointment, sorrow and anger….

Gu Mengmeng chuckled, yeah, he must be fuming mad.

What occasion was it today? He brought her here but she made herself all filthy and she even rode on someone’s back, beating the person up like a shrew…

If she was him, she would be disappointed and angry too.

Gu Mengmeng retracted her arm but Snakel did not release her. Instead, he tugged hard and pulled her into his arms. He did not seem to mind that the dirt on her would taint him at all as he just tightly locked her in his arms and walked upstairs without a single word.

When the celebrity who was being beaten up realized what was happening, she started to bawl her eyes out, as if she received some deadly wrong treatment.

It’s just that she had not cried much when a security personnel forcefully brought her away and locked her up in the utility room, as if awaiting her trial.

Snakel brought Gu Mengmeng up to the exclusive lounge on the second floor. It’s supposedly a lounge but its interior design was very similar to that of a presidential suite in the hotel. It was a place for guests to rest after getting drunk so it had everything, including bathrooms.

Snakel placed Gu Mengmeng into the large bathtub and filled the bathtub after ensuring that the temperature of the water was warm enough. Right after, he started to remove Gu Mengmeng’s clothing without a single word.

Gu Mengmeng hugged her chest with both her arms and glared at Snakel in defense, hollering, “What are you doing?!”

“Not bathing? Don’t tell me you want to keep being this dirty? Won’t you feel uncomfortable?” Snakel avoided Gu Mengmeng’s eyes as he just stared at her dress that was tainted with dirty water.

Gu Mengmeng pushed Snakel away and said, “I’ll bathe myself, you can leave this place first.”

Snakel froze there and did not move a single inch for quite some time. Then, he suddenly smirked and questioned, “You want me to leave this place? Then what happens after? Are you going to take the chance to leave me?”

Gu Mengmeng was taken aback. She knew that Snakel was angry but she did not expect the reason to be because he heard that she wanted to leave him.

Lowering her head, Gu Mengmeng took a deep breath and said, “Snakel, let’s break up.”

Snakel acted like he did not hear her as the veins on his temples twitched twice. His chest rose and fell in an exaggerating manner and he clenched his teeth hard, saying, “I’ll help you bathe first.”

“Snakel!” Gu Mengmeng roared.

Snakel lifted his head up, his jade green eyes forming a deep and piercing gaze. He was angry, really angry.

“I said before that you have to call me by that title, huh?” Snakel pinched Gu Mengmeng’s chin with one hand and said with an icy cold expression, “Don’t anger me and call me by that title properly. As long as you listen to my words….I can treat it like nothing happened just now. I didn’t hear anything and you didn’t say anything.”

Gu Mengmeng felt the sharp pain from her chin but how could that pain be compared with her heartache?

From the beginning, she kept telling herself that Snakel and her were not from the same world, she would eventually lose him.

But she did not control herself properly because she sunk herself deep inside his pamper and love.

After drifting alone for over ten years, without anyone to rely on like a duckweed, she finally had someone to rely on, just like a drowning person grabbing onto her life savior.
