Chapter 84: At a Loss for Words

The man’s eyes were gradually filled with rage. He turned around and pointed at Gu Jin, who was still in the car. In a rude tone, he said, “That man in the car can control plants. He even killed one of our people! Do you understand why I smashed the car now? Yet, you want me to fix it?”

He no longer had any intentions of winning over Li Ran and his anger continued to rise.

It’s your fault! You must give us your resources as compensation!”

The axe in his hand suddenly morphed into a long and sharp sword. The man charged forward but suddenly, he was lifted into the air.

A strange gust of wind began to blow.

In a blink of an eye, almost everyone was lifted by the willow tree’s vines. Their terrified screams immediately rang out.

The man screamed and cussed. However, when he saw that Wang Gang and Yang Shao were also in the air, he became speechless.

Gu Jin looked at the scene in astoundment. He uttered, “I guess now he’ll believe that these plants are not under my control.”

“But why is Li Ran the only one safe? Is the ability powerless against women?” asked Zhao Ying.

Li Ran was confused as well. There were some twigs on her palms. They moved as if they were dancing.

She stared blankly at the twigs and muttered, “What’s the meaning of this?”

The twigs stiffened and stopped moving for a moment. Then, they wrapped themselves around her. However, no harm was brought upon Li Ran, unlike the men in the air with pained expressions.

Li Ran suddenly felt dizzy. Although she did not know what was going on, she more or less had an idea.

Li Ran’s body felt relaxed since she was being massaged, but her mind was muddled.
