Chapter 57: The Weird Zombies

Li Ran seemed to have changed into a completely different person.

Lin Ke could not believe what she had just witnessed. Although she had always thought that Li Ran was no ordinary woman, she did not expect her to go so far. It was truly shocking.

Li Ran then rushed to aid the other civilians.

Soldiers carrying guns were surrounding the area. They began killing the zombies and anyone who was wounded.

For some reason, zombies kept pouring in. They showed up at different times. Just as one horde was eliminated, another would pop out.

Li Ran noticed the unusual situation and was confused.

“Did the zombies climb up the walls to get in?”

Upon hearing that, Lin Ke looked at the thick walls and shook her head, “That’s impossible. Zombies can’t climb, can they? If they could, we would have been doomed a long time ago.”

It was indeed very strange.

Li Ran really wanted to find out what was going on. Normally, if she faced any danger, she would just go into the mysterious space to avoid it. She did not have to worry about anything.

“You can see it for yourself. It’s too dangerous to stay here. Li Ran, just come with me. The military will handle things here.”

She was very worried about Li Ran.

The zombies were each carrying an opaque bag on their backs. Due to the color, the contents of the bag could not be seen.

However, there were some bags that were made out of transparent plastic.

Upon closer look, there was mineral water and bread in them!

The soldiers were the first ones to notice this bizarre circumstance. They killed a few zombies and picked up the bags. A few people noticed the bags as well and tried to get a closer look due to curiosity.

They instantly saw the contents.

“What? Is that food? There’s food!”

No one knew who shouted but did not dare to approach the soldiers recklessly. They stood close by and tried to resist their hunger with all their might.
