The security guard saw the couple’s satisfied expression. He could not help but act like a landlord when handing over the keys to them.

“There are people with fire powers in our base. They developed a flame that can burn for a week. After placing the flame in a glass container, we use that as a substitute for cooking gas.”

Gu Jin thanked the security guard for the new information.

The security guard was rather amused.

Li Ran asked, “Does this mean there are no actual arbitrary rules?”

The security guard shook his head and said, “We update the rules in a handbook from time to time. It’s just the basics and there are no specifics on how one would get expelled. From what I’ve seen, if you manage yourself well, you’ll be able to live here peacefully.”

“How long have you been here? It seems like you’re really familiar with this place.”
