He turned to look at Matcha, Fishball, and Lightning and said, “Zhao Yao killed your supercat friends. I am going to stop him. All of you will follow me.”

Matcha said telepathically to Fishball and Lightning, “It is impossible for Zhao Yao to kill his own cats as he would not do things to his disadvantage.”

Fishball thought and replied, “Project X doesn’t seem to be lying. Perhaps he was deceived?”

“He must have been deceived by Zhao Yao!” Lightning said with confidence, “Zhao Yao is a great liar and a master cat manipulator. He must have planned to trick Project X into confronting him before capturing Project X.”

Seeing the three cats looking at each other strangely, Project X felt frustrated and asked, “What’s with you? Is there any problem?”

“Nothing, nothing.” Matcha quickly replied and thought, “Let’s follow him and coordinate with Zhao Yao to trick him into defeat.”

Doll frowned and asked, “What kind of castle is this?”

“It has the structure of an unknown dimension,” Headless said. “It absorbed all electromagnetic waves and radiation to prevent all types of probing. We have lost contact with all our robot scouts.”

“Prepare the smart backup,” Doll said, “… for a deeper look inside the castle.”

Headless reminded him, “If we lose the internet and long range connection to the server, the mecha’s computing power will fall by more than 99%. Master, are you sure you want to do this?”

The small girl’s smile was so innocent that Kun Wu let down her guard. She touched her chest and said, “Kun Wu, I am the God of Cats. Why is a small kid like you appearing here?”

Xiao Yu said sorrowfully, “I don’t know. I was separated from my parents and came here accidentally.”

“Huh?” Kun Wu said with concern, “Follow me then, this place is too dangerous for a young kid like you. You will be safer if you follow me.”

Xiao Yu happily nodded in agreement and her head climbed out of the floor smiling.

In the space below the ground, Xiao Yu pinched firmly on the struggling Momo and a few spirits who had just escaped.

Xiao Yu popped her head back underneath the floor and scolded them fiercely, “Stop struggling! If you move again, I will stew you!”

Momo felt exasperated. Looking at Xiaoyu, Momo thought angrily, “If was in my tip top condition, would I be afraid of a student? This is infuriating!”
