Edward laughed heartily as he flew in the sky, “Well? Are you able to catch up to me? My highest speed is more than 500 meters per second, fully automated by AI. The ballistic supercomputer will assist in flying and help me dodge all attacks. Are you able to hit me?”

Edward laughed wildly as he accelerated in the sky, causing strong winds from his location.

“Did you see that? My capabilities are more powerful than you can imagine!”

Edwards activated his Psychokinesis to grab Zhao Yao.

“I got you!” Edward’s eyes lit up and as he tightened his grip around Zhao Yao and placed Kun Wu behind his back.

“Done!”

In the next moment, cannons protruded from his chest, stomach and shoulders and fired plasma flames at Zhao Yao. Bright light and immense heat engulfed Zhao Yao and the entire underground space quaked violently, as though it would collapse any time.

The refugees exclaimed at the sudden explosion and looked fearfully at Edward, who was hovering in mid air.

Bason frowned and said, “Is Edward mad? He used such a powerful plasma cannon in such a tight underground space! Is he burying us alive?”

Philip swept away the dust that flew towards him and coughed as he said, “Edward, do not be rash. Finish him quickly.”

Edward laughed sinisterly and said, “He may already be finished. The plasma cannon is powerful enough to sink a battleship.”

A gust of strong wind blew across the battlefield. After the dust settled, Zhao Yao appeared intact in front of everyone.

“What?” Edward was shocked as he looked at the pristine Zhao Yao.

Zhao Yao asked grimly, “Are you done?”

“Humph?” Edward accelerated in the sky and shouted, “You managed to survive my plasma cannon, I shall let you have a taste of my…”

Zhao Yao said, “You are irritating me.”

Zhao Yao stepped out as Edward spoke halfway in his sentence.

Time stopped. When time resumed, a loud explosion was heard and Zhao Yao was stepping on Edward’s head.

Edward was frozen in mid-air during his acceleration and viciously thrown by Zhao Yao onto the ground, forming a depression where he landed.

Bason and Philip were terrified when they witnessed their companion being trampled. When Zhao Yao’s grim gaze swept upon them, cold sweat formed on their heads. They felt like they were being set upon by a ferocious beast.

They looked at each other. Their backs emitted plasma flames as they flew in a pincer formation towards Zhao Yao.

Bason’s body emitted large quantity of liquid metal and transformed into a three-meter tall giant. Armed with his metallic superpower, he charged wildly toward Zhao Yao like a juggernaut.

Philip’s back emitted large volume of crystals and his body was illuminated with a white brilliance. The crystals transformed into beams of golden light that slashed down on Zhao Yao.

Whether it was Bason’s ramming or Philip’s beams, they passed through Zhao Yao as though he was just an illusion.

Zhao Yao, who was standing behind the Dimension Portal, said calmly, “It seems like all of you are very unhappy with me. I didn’t take care of you properly the last time.”

The two of them attacked Zhao Yao viciously. Bason’s liquid metal transformed into various weapons like swords, guns and maces, making him look like a porcupine. He swung his weapons at Zhao Yao like a runaway tornado.

Philip’s body emitted more and more prismatic crystals. Complemented by his body’s white light, beams of dense light extended towards Zhao Yao.

Their attacks were unable to penetrate the Dimension Portal or hit Zhao Yao.
