“What?” William was blinded with anger when he saw that preposterous button. He froze for a split second which nearly costed his life when a huge rock came crashing down.

“What the hell is happening? All I wanted is to activate Ultimate Armed Super God Module, but why is it asking for a recharge?”

That same monotonous voice returned, “How can you become stronger if you refuse to recharge?”

Anger poisoned his veins as he erupted, “What’s the connection between getting stronger and recharging?”

The voice continued, “Firstly, you’ll be rewarded with the superpower hamper. It contains timefreeze, super strength, super speed, lightning, super-regeneration and other potent powers.”

It was like a tantalizing dessert luring William towards it. An intense desire to simply relent and recharge rushed through him. He immediately clarified, “I’ll recharge. Now. Immediately. But how am I supposed to do that?”

The system replied, “Do you need me to teach you how to recharge? Simply switch on your phone and transfer the money.”

“…” William had never expected such a simple method of recharging and was caught in a daze. He then continued, “However, I don’t have any reception over here for my phone.”

He was so close to that amazing superpower hamper. He was so close to reaching the pinnacle of strength.

William knew that it was all too late. The six cats were preparing to liberate him with their final attack when a blinding golden curtain descended from the sky, enveloping him from them.

William was flabbergasted, “This is …”

Once again, the voice rang in his ears, “This is the kryptonite dome. Recharging is the most sacred action in the universe, one that cannot be disturbed. When you are in the midst of recharging, you will be protected by the venerable kryptonite dome. You will be in a state of invincibility.”

The ‘Power Up Card’ enhanced deflective field shielded William from all the attacks. The six supercats were relentless as they continued to assault William with their barrage of attacks. Usually, these attacks could easily destroy any ordinary material. Yet, they were futile against the deflective field.

The ‘Power Up Card’ enhanced defective field is more than sufficient to withstand all six of their attacks simultaneously.” Zhao Yao continued to experiment with his defensive capabilities while his fingers ran across Ares’s fur. With the power of the illusion, he whispered to William, “Host, kindly continue your recharging process.”

William bit back a scream when he saw the kryptonite dome emerging from nowhere. His hopes were rekindled as excitement overwhelmed him, “My god, this god_system is truly insane! I never imagined such power to even exist! What the hell is it? Is it a superpower? Or is it some alien technology? I must spend some time researching about it after I settle the things on the island.”

Originally, William remained rather skeptical about god-system since hearing about the bank transfer.
