“This guy!” Black Phoenix felt as though a mountain had crashed down on him as he couldn’t even twitch a hair on his body.

However, Black Phoenix did not give up. Instead, he activated the superpower that gave him so much pride.

A Level 18 power of Awareness exploded from his body. Though he could not borrow the full powers of the alien cats, his current power was enough for him to ride the waves in the superpower realm.

Awareness Distortion activated! Black Phoenix wanted to directly control Zhao Yao’s body.

However, he tried so hard but his efforts were fruitless. After defeating countless apostles with this ability, it failed to have any effect on Zhao Yao. This was the first time his power had failed to activate.

If controlling humans and apostles were as easy as breathing and drinking water for him, his inability to enact his power on Zhao Yao was akin to using the strength of one man to move an entire planet.

His ability was blocked on the spot, completely unable to pierce through the supremely strong defensive force of the Level 49 power of Awareness.

“You!” Black Phoenix stared at Zhao Yao in disbelief. This was his first time being unable to activate his power, which put him at a loss of what to do.

Zhao Yao turned and glanced at Black Phoenix. He felt as though Black Phoenix had just used his ability to attack him. Zhao Yao simply pointed at him with his index finger in midair.

A force strong enough to twist and contort steel columns entwined Black Phoenix’s body along the contours of the Deflective Field. Black Phoenix’s neck tilted slightly before it completely broke apart.

All the power Black Phoenix had flowed out of his body like water. He felt the world turning darker and darker as a sense of disbelief overwhelmed him.

“I… I’m going to die?”

“Just… Just like that?”

“He… killed me just like that?”

“D*mn…”

“D*mn… D*mn d*mn d*mn…”

Amidst his harrowing fear, Black Phoenix felt his vision black out completely into emptiness.

With a wave of his hand, the dimension portal swooped forward and sucked Black Phoenix into the Extradimensional Belly. He said to the cats in the Extradimensional Belly, “Send this guy to the front of the Door of Everlasting Life and leave him there till I come back.”

When the golden-haired girl saw Black Phoenix being killed and suddenly disappearing in midair, she screamed in alarm and stared at Zhao Yao in shock and overwhelming fear. Zhao Yao got annoyed by her expression and just pointed at her to knock her out.

“Great, now we can continue talking.” Zhao Yao stared at Giggle and the three cats as he said, “Thanks for coming all the way here. However, as you guys have seen, this planet already has a ruler.”

Giggle stared at Zhao Yao nervously as he asked, “Who’s the cat backing you up?”

The multi-colored cat said, “That Awareness feels really familiar.”

The white cat replied, “It must be one of the cats from our Short Fur Tribe. A power like Dimension Seal is not a skill that anyone can easily learn.”

“Don’t tell me that Short Fur Sage has his eyes on this place?!”

As he watched the cats conjuring up all sorts of possibilities in their minds and scaring themselves, Zhao Yao could not help chuckling as he said, “That’s right, at least you guys have some brains to think. This place is already the Short Fur Sage, Grayley’s, territory. My power and skills are all from him.”

The Short Fur Sage Grayley was the cat Zhao Yao went to find when he went to learn the Dimension Seal skill previously. Although he did not even see what the cat looked like, it did not prevent him from using his name to spin this story.

“It’s actually Grayley!” Giggle and the three cats immediately froze on the spot as fear flashed across their faces.

Zhao Yao thought to himself, “Grayley’s name seems pretty impressive to use.”

He kept staring at Giggle’s body as he was still the most interested in Giggle out of these four cats. After all, Giggle was the cat that had created Closers World. This meant that he had knowledge of the Awareness country. This was one of the things Zhao Yao really wanted to know about right now.

Giggle and the other three cats exchanged glances as they communicated telepathically and anxiously.

“Grayley actually set his sights here?”

“Does this guy want to construct an Awareness country here secretly as well?”

“Obviously. Which of the top ranking Short Fur Sages don’t have their own Awareness country?” It was precisely because of the immensely strong powers of the Awareness country that made them ban other cats from constructing their own Awareness country.”

“The top few Sages all use the power of the Awareness country as a deterrent against others. The Sages were below them would surely try to find a way to do that as well.”

“We should escape immediately. Grayley is not one to be trifled with.”

“We would be doomed if he wants to silence us!!”

Giggle said cautiously, “Since Lord Grayley has set his sights on this place, we will definitely not dare to take any part of it. If there’s nothing else we will take our leave…”

As they said that, the four cats immediately jumped off the sofa and ran towards the door of the house to run out of the area enclosed by the Dimension Seal and escape.

Of course, Zhao Yao was not about to let them go that easily. With a light squeeze of his palm, power that could move mountains and rupture seas crashed down on the four cats through the use of the Deflective Field.

“Wait a minute. If the four of you leave, what would happen to the other two cats? How much longer are they going to hide on Earth?”

“There are more cats?” Giggle was stunned for a moment before he immediately replied, “Only the four of us came this time. Aside from us, no other cats came… If there are more here , they have nothing to do with us.”

The two other cats which Zhao Yao mentioned were of course lies to trick Giggle into revealing whatever information he knew. Seeing the fear in their faces, Zhao Yao believed that there could possibly only be the four of that came to Earth.

Hence, Zhao Yao said again, “Only these four kittens and you guys want to snatch the Awareness country? Humph, who are you kidding? Tell me, who’s the cat behind you guys. Which cat in the Short Fur Tribe is secretly backing you guys up?”

Giggle immediately shook his head rapidly as he squeaked, “No, no, aside from the four of us…” Halfway through his words, Giggle suddenly reacted over and recalled something.

“If I say that there is really only the four of us who know…”

Giggle stared at Zhao Yao, who looked as though he had black smoke emanating from his body and seeping towards them.

“If I say that.. He might just torture us to death.”

His tail slowly slumped on the ground as Giggle said to Zhao Yao, “Hmm… We have already told Fei Fei about this planet… He knows we’re here.”

Hearing Giggle’s words, the other three cats reacted immediately. They thought he was trying to intimidate Zhao Yao.

Zhao Yao frowned. If there were other cats in the Short Fur Tribe who knew about the Awareness country that would really be more troublesome.

“I can only lock them up for now. The most important thing is still to see if I can get any information about the Awareness country from this guy.”

Zhao Yao turned to Giggle as he stared at him greedily.
