Xia Ling felt that her hand was held by a soft little hand.

She looked down and saw Shaohui’s face in the dim light.

“When have I ever lied to you?” Xia Ling smiled and stroked her child’s head in sympathy. “Rest assured, even if the world falls apart, your mom will be here for you.”

Thus, the child sighed in relief.

A soft white light swept through the crowd and stopped when it found the mother and child. On the stage, Li Lei smiled warmly as he invited them on stage. “Xiao Ling and Shaohui, come up.”

She held her child’s hand and walked on stage.
