It was seven in the morning to be precise, Bryana was still lazing in bed. She hasn’t taken a shower and hasn’t even washed her face or brushed her teeth. the woman looked pale and limp as if she had no passion at all.

“There is an important meeting this morning, I have to go to the office,” Dean said angrily combing Bryana’s hair. “But I promise I’ll be home when the meeting is over and I’ll take you to the doctor.”

Dean smiled wryly. “Yes then, let’s have breakfast. the kids must also be waiting for us to have breakfast together, ” he exclaimed.

Bryana shook her head. “I want to eat here instead. The soup and warm food seem good.”

Dean brought a bowl of chicken soup, a portion of rice, and a glass of warm water with a tray to the room. Calvin and Sofia, who were in the living room ready for school, looked at their father in surprise.

“Dad, Is that food for Mommy?” asked Sofia.

“Is mom sick?” asked Calvin too.

Dean stopped on the stairs and wondered what to answer? because Bryana is not sick or in cravings, but he doesn’t want to give false hope to Calvin and Sofia who want a baby.

“Mommy is not feeling well, that’s why dad brings food to the room,” explained Dean. “You guys go to school, Mommy will recover after breakfast and take medicine,” he exclaimed.

“I want to see mom for a moment,” said Calvin, who immediately jogged up the stairs past Dean just like that. Sofia also climbed the stairs following Calvin.

“I … I have to go to the bathroom,” Bryana said and then covered her mouth with her right hand. She immediately got out of bed and walked toward the bathroom in a hurry.

Dean became worried and followed Bryana to the bathroom.
