“Hmm?” Placing another soft kiss on the side of her neck, Ethan Lu hummed a tune as Lexi wasn’t responding nor was she moving.

“Tomorrow?” Snapping back by the lustful aura his last kiss gave, Lexi marginally raised her brows. She then slightly moved and turned to face his flushed yet dashing front as always. “Uh… why are you looking at me like that?” Arching her brows, for some reason, Lexi sensed that by the way he looked at her, he wanted something… just like whenever he wanted to do IT.

“Hehe,” Chuckling at how Lexi’s senses could guess what he had in mind at first glance, the corner of his lips curled into a grin. Cupping both her cheeks, he uttered. “Don’t worry, no matter how happy I am right now and no matter how I wanted to end this engagement by serving you with my body, I won’t because the plan was changed.”

Hearing the sentence ‘serving you with my body’, the side of Lexi’s brows twitched. “Don’t make me look like I am thirsty.” Rolling her eyes, Lexi sassed because if one would hear him, they might think that she was the one who always wanted to do it. Well, it was safe to say that there were days that Lexi would take the initiative while most of the time, Ethan Lu would seduce her.

“Say, are you happy?” Ignoring her last remarks, Ethan Lu looked straight in her eyes as he inquired this important question.

“Tch,” Clicking her tongue as he already softened her heart within a fraction of second, a sigh escaped her nose. “What kind of question is that? Of course. I’ve been waiting for so long, you know. You are so slow… I gave too many hints and even thought that I should be the one to propose.”

“Come here, my sugarpie.” Chuckling after hearing her statements, Ethan Lu carefully pulled her to his embrace. “Am I that slow? Sorry for making you wait and our baby as well.” Deep and low, Ethan Lu whispered as all his happiness seeped out from within him and transferred by his warm embrace.

“Lexi…”

“Hmm?”

“Let’s get married… tomorrow.” Insisting to marry her as soon as possible, Ethan Lu didn’t want to wait any longer. Actually, he wanted to marry Lexi before her belly starts growing as her tummy although it was evident yet, still, it was sticking out a little.

“Tomorrow like tomorrow? Our friends should prepare a little right? I mean, you and me as well!” Furrowing her brows, Lexi understood his desire to get married as soon as possible. However, shouldn’t he at least postpone it and announce it one month prior?

“They don’t need to…” Chuckling while peering at her lovely front, Ethan Lu traced her jaw and then settled to her chin. “Did you forget what kind of job your husband has? I only need a single call and everything will be set.” Ethan Lu humbly bragged as it was indeed the truth.

He didn’t relentlessly work these past few months for nothing. Ethan Lu made sure to be at the top to lessen his competition and now that he was considered to be the top business figure, he only needed to raise his finger to get what he wanted. Thus, having an instant venue, bridesmaid’s dresses, and everything that would be needed for a wedding was a piece of cake.

He only needed her “yes” and they would get married. However, Lexi frowned upon hearing his humble boasts. She wasn’t displeased to hear what he said as it was a fact. Yet, Lexi wanted to personally prepare her own dream wedding… or rather, she wanted to meticulously prepare their wedding together.

“What’s the fun in rushing things?” Still frowning, Lexi asked. “I’d prefer to plan our wedding with the two of us like choosing wedding cakes, wedding gowns, the venue, and everything. I don’t mind getting married with a huge belly since like you said, you have money and we can get married again.”

“Hahaha!” As he watched her reason it out like a displeased little girl, Ethan Lu could not help but burst out laughing. He already expected this reply— knowing his fiancee, she would surely want to personally handle their wedding.

“Alright, alright.” Conceding in defeat just like that, Ethan Lu bent down to her stomach level and whispered, “Your mommy sure knows how to rip off your daddy.”

“What? Do you have any complaints?” Arching her brows while she looked down on the tattling soon to be father to their child inside her, Lexi thrust her chin a little forward yet, her gaze displayed contentment and happiness within her pair of nut-brown eyes.

“Of course not! I’d marry you as many times as you want, my darling.” Shaking his head, Ethan Lu straightened his back as he strongly affirmed. He was just teasing her but recalling how Lexi could be easily irked by him because of her hormones, Ethan Lu decided to stop teasing her as her mood always escalates.

“As many times… really?” Slightly appeased, Lexi repeated the words he carelessly spouted.

“Yes! As many times as you want!” Ethan Lu profusely nodded as it was a relief to him that Lexi didn’t go cray cray and was seemingly to be happy hearing his genuine promise. “Your husband’s money might not easily run out but what I’m sure of is my love for you would never.”

“Aww~ that’s so sweet.” In a soft tune, Lexi was easily moved by his usual cheesy lines as she placed her hands on her chest. Surely, her hormones made her emotions and Lexi herself be unpredictable because this time, she loudly spoke her mind after hearing his touching profession of love.

“Hehe, did you just know that now?” Giggling, Ethan Lu raised his pair of arms as he reached out to her for another warm hug.

“No, my husband is always sweet. I love you, my love.” Letting out a soft chuckle, Lexi moved her head forward and placed a soft kiss on his moist thin lips. The two of them continued to be lovey-dovey for a while before they decided to go back and tend to their guests.
