Reborn To Love Chapter 47 Do You Exercise A Lot?

47 Do You Exercise A Lot?

‘”Can we go get an omelette roll?”‘

‘Gu Yechen raised one eyebrow and he used the hand not holding onto the steering wheel to scratch his head. He maneuvered the steering wheel with one hand and it looked extremely sexy.’

‘”Omelette roll?”‘

‘He Xinyan looked down at her stomach and rubbed it gently

“I haven’t eaten breakfast yet. Aren’t you hungry?”‘

‘Gu Yechen wasn’t hungry but of course he chose to go along with his wifey

“Yes

I’m hungry. Let’s go get an omelette roll.”‘

‘In the end

they found a food stand near the street selling omelette rolls

and they bought one serving to share. In the car

He Xinyan ended up eating almost the whole thing

and Gu Yechen only ate one small piece.’

‘He Xinyan ate every little scrap and she frowned when she saw the empty plate.’

‘”Do you want to go back and get another one?” Gu Yechen asked when he noticed He Xinyan’s expression.’

‘”It’s okay. . .”‘

‘Gu Yechen didn’t say anything more

but he made a mental note to himself to learn how to make omelette rolls. If Xinyan liked omelette rolls so much

would she also like him more if he knew how to make them?! If that was true

Gu Yechen was determined to make the most delicious omelette rolls in the entire world.’

‘He Xinyan fell asleep once again in the car

and she woke up just as they arrived in front of the trail leading up to Springborn Lake.’

‘This time

He Xinyan was no longer scared of the empty and plain trailhead

because she knew what was lying ahead. They got out of the car and Gu Yechen unlocked the gate before they started their hike.’

‘He Xinyan walked by herself the entire way up the mountain

and she realized that besides the plain of flowers

there were several other locations along the trail with amazing scenery.’

‘Along the trail

there was a bridge over a small pond of water that was so clear you could see the rocks piled at the bottom. There were also several waterfalls that weren’t running heavily because it was still late summertime.’

‘After a long time of walking

the two of them finally reached the top of the mountain. While He Xinyan was panting for air

Gu Yechen looked like he hadn’t walked at all. There was no sweat to be seen and his breathing was slow and even.’

‘”Do you exercise a lot?” He Xinyan asked as she took a gulp of water.’

‘”Yes.” He suddenly leaned closer to He Xinyan and placed one hand over his shirt

“Do you want to see my results?”‘

‘He Xinyan almost choked on her water

“Pervert!”‘

‘Gu Yechen laughed and turned to look at the beautiful land in front of them

but He Xinyan’s focus had sidetracked. She stared at Gu Yechen’s back and an image of his hard and defined stomach and chest muscles appeared inside her mind.’

‘She quickly shook her head to get rid of those dirty images and slapped her head. She looked out at the beautiful lake and the trees beneath them and took a deep breath of the fresh air.’

‘She still had a chance. In her first life

she didn’t even know about any of this. There was no room for regrets in this life. She was going to avenge her dead mother and grandfather and also take back everything that belonged to the He family.’

‘Bai Jiawei

Li Huiran

Li Yuyan. . . Get ready. It’s time you return everything you stole

and get punished for everything you’ve done.’

‘—‘

‘On the way down

Gu Yechen insisted on carrying He Xinyan again halfway

and she hesitantly agreed. However

once she got onto his back

she realized that she made the right decision.’

‘His strong and broad back was warm and comfortable

and the pleasant and masculine smell of his body was light and calming. In no time

she fell asleep again as Gu Yechen walked down the mountain.’

‘He kept a steady pace and would occasionally look back and smile when he saw He Xinyan’s face from the corner of his eyes.’

‘When they reached the car

He Xinyan woke up while Gu Yechen was trying to put on her seatbelt for her. She rubbed her eyes and mumbled ‘thank you’ as Gu Yechen closed the door and walked over to the other side of the car.’

‘As they drove back to the Xihe Estates

Gu Yechen suddenly broke the silence

“If you ever need any help

ask me.”‘

‘He Xinyan blinked a few times before realizing that he was probably talking about her family issues. A warm smile appeared on her face. That’s right

she had someone to lean on to now.’

‘”I will. . . Thank you.”‘

‘When the car stopped in front of their street

the two of them walked directly to Gu Yechen’s house. He Xinyan was comfortable with coming to his house now

and when they entered

she went straight for the kitchen.’

‘There was a box of snacks inside a cabinet that Gu Yechen had prepared for her

and she picked out a few that she liked. The hike was very tiring

even though she only walked half of what Gu Yechen did.’

‘She tore open a bag of chips and shoved a handful down her mouth

“Do you want some?”‘

‘Gu Yechen shook his head

“I’ll go cook.”‘

‘”I’ll go help you!” He Xinyan ran after Gu Yechen and also entered the kitchen. Gu Yechen suddenly turned around and raised one eyebrow at her.’

‘”Help me? I don’t think cutting your finger or setting the kitchen on fire would be helping me?”‘

‘He Xinyan puffed her cheeks out and crossed her arms together. How did he know exactly what was going to happen? Could he see into the future?!’

‘He Xinyan had tried cooking once a long time ago

and that was exactly what had happened. After that incident

Bai Jiawei had never allowed He Xinyan to enter the kitchen or touch a pan ever again.’

‘”Fine. . .” He Xinyan slowly walked out of the kitchen and vowed to learn how to cook! One day

she was going to cook for Gu Yechen too! She couldn’t just sit here every time and have him cook for her.’

‘A dish appeared inside her mind and she nodded her head.’

‘She was going to learn how to make. . .’

‘Omelette rolls!’
