Zhishu He made a simple nest for the kittens and put it in the unoccupied guest room. He was forced by Wenxu Jiang to wash his body carefully before going to bed.

Wenxu Jiang flung Zhishu He to the soft bed and wrapped his arms around Zhishu. Then he buried his face in Zhishu’s chest, sniffing like a police dog.

“Do you smell anything unusual?” Zhishu He asked, feeling Jiang’s hot breath on his neck, which tickled him.

Wenxu Jiang bit Zhishu’s collarbone lightly and answered, “Yes, you smell like a kitten.”

Zhishu He burst into laughter, as he cradled Jiang’s face and kissed him on the forehead. “Okay. Now you can go to the guest room and sleep with the kittens.”

“No, I want you,” Wenxu Jiang bowed his head and planted several kisses on Zhishu’s face. Then he moved backward slowly, sucking Zhishu’s skin passionately, from the delicate neck to the soft lower abdomen.

Zhishu He uttered some slight groans and felt his body burning with desire. He’s voice was soft and sexy, and his shy and restrained groans were seductive enough to break Jiang’s sense and reason down.

“Don’t leave any love bites on me…” Zhishu He murmured. Tomorrow he would go to the hospital. If Jiang left some marks on his neck, the doctors and nurses would see them when he took off his coat and it would make him embarrassed.

Wenxu Jiang slowly came into Zhishu face-to-face, and they combined closely as a whole. When Jiang began to move, he heard a sharp intake of breath coming from below, “Eh… Slow… Slow down.” He lowered his head and met Zhishu’s watery loving eyes.

“I’m slow enough,” Wenxu Jiang replied, stroking Zhishu’s soft hair gently, and kept stirring. “Have you cut your hair?”

Zhishu He felt a strong wave of the lust flowing through him, so he bit his lips to suppress it and answered brokenly, “Yes… I have…my hair cut…”

He twined his arms around Jiang’s neck to steady his shaking body and kissed Jiang’s jaw and Adam’s apple in a devout gesture, hoping that he would treat him in a tender way. “Jiang, please…”

Wenxu Jiang was dazed for a while. In the past, Zhishu He seldom displayed such great initiative as he did today in the bed. At this moment, his rare passion and charming gesture struck a deep chord in Jiang’s heart.

Wenxu Jiang let his desire run rampant and began to conquer Zhishu with all his strength. Jiang folded Zhishu’s legs and pinned him on the bed, their body flapping violently against each other like a pair of wings, which made Zhishu cry, “Jiang… Brother Jiang… Slow down, please… I beg you…”

At last, Wenxu Jiang achieved the orgasmic satisfaction that he hadn’t gotten for so long. But Zhishu He was too tired to stay sober. He laid his head on Jiang’s chest and fell asleep immediately. Wenxu Jiang stretched out his arms to hold Zhishu tightly and caressed his naked back. A few moments later, Jiang muttered with confusion and heartache, “You’ve lost a lot of weight. Didn’t you take good care of yourself?”

The next day when Zhishu He woke up, Wenxu Jiang had already left. He sat on the cold bed and kneaded his aching and limp waist for a while before he got up. Today he needed to go to the hospital and take the chemotherapy.

When he walked out of the bedroom, he was surprised to find that Wenxu Jiang had fed the kittens and cooked the breakfast for him. Jiang even left a note to remind him to microwave the food before eating.

Zhishu He shook his head and chucked the note in the bin. He crouched down to stroke the four furry kittens and played with them for a few moments. Then he took his medicines and changed his clothes, intending to go to the hospital.

This time Zhishu He looked carefully at himself in the mirror and made sure that there was no obvious mark on his neck and shoulders before going out of the door. He was thankful for Wenxu Jiang’s kindness though his skin under the clothes was full of love bites.

Zhishu He maintained calm on the way to the hospital. However, when he got off the bus and walked toward the hospital, he became nervous. Ziyu Ai had told him that he must be hospitalized during chemotherapy, but he had refused without hesitation at that time. He even refused to know the terrible sequelae and side-effects caused by the chemotherapy because he was afraid that he would sink into the fear and give up his life straight.

Zhishu He never expected to suffer so much during the chemotherapy. He felt himself in the hell as he got a strong feeling of headache and nausea, his every fibre being aching as if there were numerous insects crawling in his blood vessels, gnawing at his flesh and bringing the excruciating pain to him. Zhishu He was very afraid of pain but this time he had to endure the unceasing pain quietly. He bit his lips so hard that blood exuded, and his body was already wet due to the cold sweat.

Ziyu Ai asked a doctor to cover for him before he came to accompany Zhishu He. His heart ached for Zhishu when Ai saw him trembling in pain. He held the poor man in his arms and wiped Zhishu’s sweaty face with tenderness.

“Doctor Ai…” Zhishu He was in a state of half unconsciousness. He had a beautiful face, but now it was ghostly pale with the sharp pain, and even his lips were bloodless. “You… You didn’t tell me that I would suffer such a great pain…”

Ziyu Ai patted him on the back gently and soothed him, “It’s okay… It’s alright… You will be fine as long as you conquer it. Don’t be afraid. I’m here with you…”

Zhishu He struggled to curve his lips into a faint smile, revealing the dimple on his left cheek, and whispered with a deep sorrowful expression in his eyes, “I am in so much pain… I feel that it has lasted for centuries… What should I do with the pain? I can’t tolerate it anymore…”
