Li Ran screamed, but no one paid any attention to her.

Everyone’s eyes were on the man. They followed him as he rushed to Li Ran’s car, hoping to get some food.

In the end, only the little boy who Li Ran gave some food to earlier was by her side.

His eyes were filled with fear as he clutched his food and water even tighter. In fact, he clutched the water bottle so tightly that he unconsciously crushed it.

Li Ran was pregnant with a child. She could not afford to be involved in any conflict.

She was afraid that her body might get hurt.

She could only watch helplessly.

When the little boy saw that the beautiful girl from earlier had returned, tears poured out of his eyes. He hastily handed the leftover food and water to her as if they were precious treasures. He then wiped his tears away.

Li Ran looked at the girl and was a little surprised.

The girl handed her a cell phone and said with a smile, “Here, although the battery is low, you should be able to make a call. The owner said that you can only call for a total of 30 seconds and no more than that. I’ve begged him for a long time to borrow it.”

Li Ran looked at the girl gratefully and thanked her repeatedly.

Then, she dialed the number that her mother had left for her. She no longer cared about the situation involving her car.

The phone began producing a beeping sound.

Just as she finished speaking, a key was thrown in her direction.

Just as she was about to walk over and pick the keys up, the little boy did it instead. He handed them to her and shyly said, “Here.”

“Thank you.”

“Big sister, don’t listen to their nonsense. You’re a good person!” the little boy said softly.

Li Ran smiled at the little boy. She felt really warm in her heart.

Then, a voice could be heard coming from the phone.

“Hello? Are you Ran Ran?”

The voice from the other side was full of anticipation.

Li Ran immediately said, “Mom, it’s me!”

“Thank heavens! Ran Ran, you almost worried us to death! Why did you leave your home?!”

She had not finished speaking but the phone was snatched away by someone else.

Immediately, Li Ran could hear her father’s voice. He sounded impatient.

“Why are you not happy that your daughter is fine? You even scolded her. Seriously!”

“Geez! Dad, mom, this is someone else’s phone. I only have 30 seconds. Are the both of you together with Lin Nan?”

“That’s right. Lin Nan is just next to us.”

Li Ran’s father glanced at Lin Nan, who was looking very eager and anxious.

The phone was still in her father’s hand. Just as he was about to continue speaking…

“Dad, give the phone to Lin Nan!”

“Ah… Okay.”

“Lin Nan, I’m at the south of the city, about 1.2 miles from Duyue Supermarket. Where are you? Let’s find a way to meet up.”

“Where did you get the phone from?”

She looked at the phone and saw that the screen had turned black.

The phone had run out of power.

The beautiful girl scratched her head helplessly. “The battery is dead. Previously, they spoke to the rescue team for a long time. They were afraid that the rescue team may not find our location.”

Li Ran bowed to the girl. She knew that it was not easy for her to get the phone.
