The auntie worked even harder, revealing all her skills.

Nothing made her happier than receiving praise for her cooking.

Cheng Yang sat in the study looking at the documents on the table, unable to concentrate on any of them.

The auntie had already gone back home. Cheng Yang didn’t like people staying in his space, so there would be a set time for the auntie to clean, cook, and then go back home.

Xiao Ying went to the kitchen to pour a glass of water and knocked on the study door.

Slowly, she stuck her head out from behind the door and looked at Cheng Yang. “Brother, I’m here to call you to eat.”

She placed the cup of water she was holding on his desk.

Cheng Yang looked at the food arranged on the table and raised an eyebrow.

After eating their fill, they went to the couch to watch TV.

After watching for a while, Xiao Ying fell asleep, falling over onto Cheng Yang’s lap.

When Xiao Ying woke up, the sky was already dark. She rubbed her eyes and reached to turn on the lights, but nothing happened.
