Everyone had waited for almost ten hours at the hospital for the DNA results – the sky was already dark when they left.

Things then happened as they feared. They turned into a quiet lane only to find three figures stood in the middle of the road, waiting. All three emanated dark, evil auras as if they were demons from hell.

“I’ll deal with them!” Bai Libin volunteered, confident in his own combat power. Luo Puti and Wu Tianhe agreed. He was an elite with thirteen thousand combat power after all – nobody outside of Dragon City could defeat him.

“Forget it, Shixiong… It’s not the time to argue. I’ll go with you, it’s better to be cautious!” Lin Yufei said as she tried to calm things down.

“Nope.” Chen Xiaobei said coldly. “Both of you are going to die even if you fight together.”

“You bastard! Could you be more grateful?” Lin Yufei turned on him, enraged. “I’m helping you calm them down! Please, shut up!”

“I wonder who amongst us needs to be grateful.” Chen Xiaobei said, shaking his head. To him, there really was no doubt who will win the fight.

“Shimei Lin, you don’t have to help me. I’ll prove garbage here wrong; my victory will be a slap on his fucking face!” Bai Libin said as he charged at the enemies without a second thought. Lin Yufei followed him some distance behind in case he needed backup.

“Yes! Do that! Give him one big slap!” Wu Tianhe grinned.

Meanwhile, Luo Puti kept quiet since the start. She believed Chen Xiaobei, but was also somewhat certain that Bai Libin land Lin Yufei would make short work of their opponents. After all, the former had thirteen thousand combat power, and the latter had twelve thousand combat power.

Both of them were famous even at Dragon City, so how was it possible for them to be defeated easily?

“Dark Child, go!” The figure who stood in the middle ordered. His face was obscure in the shadows, but he had to be an old man judging from his voice.

Still, together with Lin Yufei, the two managed to hold their own against Dark Child.

“Evil Witch, go and play with them!” The old man in grey robe said before they could catch a breath.

“As you wish!”

The figure on the left – a woman – shrugged off her robe and charged at the Six Door officers like a phantom, and her very presence boasted a vicious yet seductive aura. Though her combat power was fourteen thousand as well, she was slightly faster and much more skillful than Dark Child.

Things immediately took a turn for the worst for both Bai Libin and Lin Yufei. After just ten exchanges, they dropped to their knees and started vomiting blood.

“Wu Tianhe! Why are you still standing there? Help them!” Chen Xiaobei shouted angrily, stunning the older man with his aura.

When he recovered, Wu Tianhe charged at their opponents without hesitation, leaving a crater of a footprint when he kicked the ground. His two comrades would die if he did not join the fray.

“Supersonic Slash!” He shouted as a flow of concentrated True Qi flowed into his right hand and transformed into the shape of a sword.

“That bastard is halfway to True Nirvana Stage! Retreat now!”

The old man shouted after he saw the green True Qi. Dark Child and Evil Witch retreated immediately; they did not dare to try their luck.

“Wind!”

The sword-like green True Qi streaked towards where Dark Child and Evil Witch stood seconds ago, breaking a deep, long crack across the ground.

Such was the power of an individual who was just halfway to True Nirvana. Wu Tianhe could transform his True Qi into a sword, and it was definitely a superhuman feat – no ordinary man could do such a thing.

“So, this is halfway to True Nirvana?” Chen Xiaobei was amazed; he finally understood Half-Step True Nirvana Stage!

Reaching such levels grants the individual the ability to convert True Qi into Kang Qi. The latter was tangible and could be shaped into armor or weapons freely. Their quality would also above that of normal weapons – which was exactly how Xiangyu blocked almost a hundred needles at once some time ago.

As for the Half-Step True Nirvana stage that stood between Qi refining stage and True Nirvana Stage, True Qi on that level was not as powerful as Kang Qi, but users could still mold it without hurting their own bodies. Therefore, Wu Tianhe’s combat power was 20000 (+3000) – well above Luo Puti, and was the reason why he had the guts to threaten her.

“No. You will kneel down in front of me within ten seconds!” The old man shot back as he stepped forward. Holding up an old ceramic pot, he opened the cover over it slowly.
