Kounsat believed that he was several tiers stronger than Qin Feng. As such, neither did he suspect that Qin Feng had already discovered him, nor that he was actually walking straight into a trap.

Qin Feng smelled the decaying odor in the air when Kounsat was within a hundred meters of him. He faked a perplexed expression and gazed into the distance.

Though Kounsat was concealing his body using dark runes, the odor of his puppet could no longer be masked.

Qin Feng’s expression instantly changed. He turned around and sprinted away without much hesitation. Kounsat’s undead puppets naturally pursued him closely.

Kounsat cackled and unleashed a gush of dark runes.

Darkness immediately engulfed the forest.

Qin Feng’s speed slowed down tremendously after being surrounded by the thick dark fog. Kounsat approached him speedily riding on a giant undead puppet.

There was only a thirty-meter gap between them now.

“Go!”

Qin Feng commanded five of his undead puppets to halt the assaulter.

“Hahaha! How naïve you are to maneuver a puppet in front of the true puppeteer. Your undead puppets are nothing but a joke to me.”

Kounsat was being cocky. He commanded four of his puppets. Though at a numerical disadvantage, Kounsat’s corpses rapidly ripped apart Qin Feng’s puppets. The most dangerous weapon of Kounsat’s puppets was the ptomaine.

“Hahaha!” Kounsat laughed boastfully.

“You are probably one of the top prodigies in the Huaxia Alliance. The fact that you could control the B3-tier beast general at B-tier speaks a lot about your potential. Unfortunately, your opponent is me. You would not have met me if you had stuck your ass at Huaxia.”

Qin Feng stopped his frantic escape and turned around. Despite the darkness, Kounsat could clearly see the smile on Qin Feng’s face.

Kounsat froze when he confirmed that Qin Feng was indeed smiling.

“Actually, B3 beast generals are not the only puppets I can control.”

Kounsat’s face contorted into a scowl as if he was yelling, ‘How dare you deceive me, Obol!’

But then, his face quickly twisted into an ugly smirk. “Since we have a common enemy now, we should work together against him instead. We are both dark ability users so it’s not ideal to harm each other and fulfill Obol’s wish. If you wish, I can teach you the way of corpse ptomaine alchemy. That will increase your puppets’ threat into a whole new level!”

“To be honest, I don’t think it’s all that difficult to kill you first then only turn on Obol. Why should I collaborate with a weakling like you? You must be considered an elect in the West American Alliance. Unfortunately, you have bumped into me. You wouldn’t be in such a predicament if you had stuck your ass in West America.” Qin Feng answered sarcastically through his consciousness. These were similar to what Kounsat had said to belittle Qin Feng earlier.

That obviously infuriated Kounsat.

“Boy, do you think I am really afraid of you? Die now!”

A horrible creature suddenly hopped out from the shadow behind Qin Feng.

It was none other than Kounsat’s humanoid puppet. The undead puppet was S-tier and extremely powerful.

Kounsat’s dark ability had no use in front of Qin Feng. He tried to escape through the air but Qin Feng had five flying beasts waiting for him in midair too.

The escape-proof trap was designed specifically for Kounsat.

A few minutes later, Kounsat was shredded into pieces. Qin Feng absorbed the remaining energy dissipated from Kounsat’s corpse and was disappointed to find out that it did not even match that of a beast general’s ability core.

A current went through Qin Feng’s special communicator. Then Tung Yang’s voice was heard. “Qin Feng, why did I hear someone screaming from your side? Are you in a fight?”
