Please wait for a moment, Madam Leng.” Li Min could not hide the joyful grin from her face, thinking that the marriage proposal was intended for her daughter. “Ninger, Ninger, come downstairs for a moment. Madam Leng is here.”

Miao Lingling blinked blankly and wished to interrupt the other woman. On second thought, Li Min did not actually say anything other than calling for Chu Ninger to come downstairs. She feared that it would only make matters worse if she said something thus she resorted to silence.
