He was one of the Thirty-Six Decan Lords of the Celestial Court and held considerable status in the Celestial Court itself, or he wouldn’t otherwise be assigned the heavy responsibility of watching over an immortal city.

And yet, he could not wrap his head around the report his lackey had submitted.

Immortal light shone out of Lord Tian Li’s body, making him appear a little imposing.

Nonetheless, Jiang He narrowed his eyes at Lord Tian Li and calmly smiled. “It is my lawful right to protect my reputation… you, on the other hand, are a mere Golden Immortal who dares to raise his voice in my presence. Don’t you believe I would kill you with a slap?”

“You dare?”

Even so, Lord Tian Li’s expression changed drastically.

Despite Jiang He’s calm words that almost appeared joking, he felt a bone-chilling killing intent.

In the next instant, the two divine lights returned—Dumbo and Trumbo had returned to the residence and reported respectfully, “Master, those who spread the rumors are executed and the disciples of those immortal sects, demonic sects and daemonic cultivators all suppressed.
