Hearing Elizabeth’s resolute tone, all the cats started to think twice about her words.

For example when licking their fur every morning, Shorthairs like Rice Cake only needed 10-30 minutes to lick their paws and wash their faces. Elizabeth, on the other hand, had to lick herself from head to toe, which took at least an hour. If she wanted to lick herself clean it could even take up to two hours.

Everyday when she shat in the toilet, it required more cleaning up as well. Being a Ragdoll cat made things worse as she had a weak stomach to begin with…

However, the thing that Elizabeth hated the most about her long fur is having to bathe with it.

It either made her feel wet all over, either she would have to be blown by a hot and noisy hair dryer for an hour or she could slowly lick her fur for several hours. Whichever method she adopted, the experience would be equally awful.

Hence, Elizabeth was vehemently against bathing.

She was only heard saying, “Everyone, now is the time to show Zhao Yao know our powers! Why would we need to be scared of one Zhao Yao when there’s so many of us here?”

“I’m scared,” The Ragdoll cat father Caesar said. “If we protest, Zhao Yao will definitely beat us up. He might even shave off our fur, starve us, lock us in cages, shoot us with water guns…”

“Shut up,” Elizabeth glared at her father and continued, “Zhao Yao is but a mere human! He can only use one kind of superpower at one time! As long as we work together, we can definitely beat Zhao Yao! No more baths for us then!”

Caesar cowered in a corner, trembling. “But Zhao Yao’s physical capabilities are too strong. He can demolish a building with just a punch. We will definitely be punished really badly, be soaked in the water indefinitely and Zhao Yao might even resort to using an automatic cat washing machine to bathe us…”

“He might really use it.” Dust Ball wagged her black tail and said seriously, “When I went over last time, I saw Zhao Yao stealthily browsing through all sorts of cat wash machines on Taobao. He closed the app the moment he saw me.”

In a beachside villa, Zhao Yao stood before a pool in the toilet. The pool had a pot basin in it. Mango began soaking in this pool at that moment, with a blank look on his face.

Zhao Yao squeezed some pet shampoo on Mango’s head and slathered it all the way down as he began to scrub Mango’s back.

Mango opened his mouth foolishly and his tongue lolled out. A look of annoyance flashed across his face.

Zhao Yao did not care about that and continued to scrub Mango. He then washed the shampoo off Mango and took out the hairdryer to blow dry his fur.

Looking at Mango who occasionally shook his head as if he wanted to leave, Zhao Yao remarked, “Mango, you’re the only one who’s this obedient during baths. When will the other cats learn from you?”

Right at that moment, Zhao Yao’s phone rang. It was a Wechat message from Roly Poly. “Zhao Yao, Zhao Yao, Elizabeth, Matcha and the other cats are discussing how to rebel against you and refuse to bathe!”

“These guys.”

Roly Poly’s heart dropped as he continued with his pretense, “Are you saying I have bipolar disorder? You’re the crazy one. I can’t be bothered with you.”

Kun Wu watched as Roly Poly hastily left. She cocked her head to one side and wondered to herself, “Why… did I dream of him again recently?”
