Since Tan Mo was in an embarrassing state and it was already late at night, it was inappropriate for Professor Yao to come and check up on her.

“Sure thing. Please take good care of her,” Professor Yao said.

“Of course. This is part of my job after all,” Ms. Hu replied.

Wei Zhiqian also left after that as it wasn’t right for him to stay either.

“Tan Mo, how are you feeling now? If you’re hurting or feeling uncomfortable anywhere, don’t hide it and tell me, okay?” Ms. Hu said after sending Wei Zhiqian off.

“Alright. Look at you, your hair’s still wet.” Ms. Hu sighed.

Thankfully, Tan Mo had already washed the shampoo and soap off her hair and body before she fell.

Since she had been covering her body with a towel and a bathrobe, her body was already dried.

Only her hair remained wet.

“You shouldn’t sleep while your hair is still wet. Wait here. I’ll go get the hairdryer,” Ms. Hu said and headed into the bathroom.

Now that Ms. Hu was gone for a moment, Tan Mo tried to move her right arm.

Just as she had expected, she could now freely move it.

Now that she was done with the healing, she finally let out a sigh of relief.

Tan Mo quickly put her bathrobe back on. When Ms. Hu came back out from the bathroom, Tan Mo was already sitting on the bed tying the belt on the bathrobe.

The lecturer walked over to her student and scolded, “You should’ve let me help you with that. You’re still injured.”

“I was just trying to see if I was fine.” Tan Mo giggled. “It looks like I can move my arms now. I think I only got a few scratches from the fall.”

Seeing that Tan Mo could already put the bathrobe back on her own, Ms. Hu didn’t say anything further.

The lecturer plugged the hairdryer into the socket in the wall next to them and was about to help Tan Mo dry her hair when the young lady stopped her.

“M-Ms. Hu, I can dry my hair on my own.”

“Forget it.” Ms. Hu shook her head. “This hair dryer is pretty weak. There’s no way you can dry your long hair in a short time. You shouldn’t put any strain on your arms for the time being. I’ll dry your hair for you.”

Ms. Hu didn’t even give Tan Mo the chance to say anything else and switched on the hairdryer to help the young lady dry her hair.

Just as the lecturer had said, Tan Mo’s hair was thick and long. It took at least a quarter of an hour for the weak hairdryer to manage to dry Tan Mo’s hair to the point where she could go to sleep.

It was tedious work for the lecturer, nonetheless.

Since it was already late, Tan Mo urged Ms. Hu to get some rest as well.

“Okay. Just wake me up if anything happens, okay? Don’t endure the pain on your own,” Ms. Hu said.

Tan Mo nodded. Ms. Hu finally started to pack everything before going to bed.

Now that Ms. Hu was asleep, Tan Mo laid down on her bed and sent Wei Zhiqian a message. “Uncle. I’m all healed up! You don’t have to worry about me.”

“Did you use your power?” Wei Zhiqian replied.

“I know you told me to refrain from using it too much, but it hurt so much just now!”

“I told you to not overuse it. Since when did I bar you from using it? I was about to tell you to use your healing power too. Get some rest. We don’t have to leave so early tomorrow.”

“Okay,” Tan Mo replied and yawned. She kept the fact that she had used her healing power on the trees back at the high school a secret from Wei Zhiqian. With all the use of her power and the accident a moment ago, she was tired.

After saying goodnight to Wei Zhiqian, Tan Mo put her phone down and fell asleep right away.

Tan Mo slept until she woke up naturally the next day.

In the middle of her sleep, she was briefly woken up by Ms. Hu.

The lecturer was packing her stuff and was about to leave. Tan Mo opened her eyes a little and said goodbye to the lecturer before falling back asleep.

“I’m too lazy to go out. Can we order some deliveries and eat in the room?” Tan Mo was too lazy to type and sent a voice message instead.

“Of course. What do you want to eat?”

Tan Mo opened the delivery app on her phone and started to scroll.

The main page of the app had recommended foods that were catered to what Tan Mo had usually ordered.

Tan Mo thought about having hotpot for lunch but quickly shook her head because the smell would be way too overpowering to dine inside a hotel room.

“Let’s order some Sichuan cuisine.” Tan Mo finally decided.

Wei Zhiqian found a Sichuan cuisine restaurant that had a high rating and sent a link to Tan Mo for her to pick the food she wanted. “Just pick what you like.”

It was a useful function as Tan Mo could select the food she wanted, and it would show up on Wei Zhiqian’s phone. All he had to do was pay for it.

There was no way Tan Mo would help save Wei Zhiqian’s wallet. She quickly picked all her favorite foods, ranging from chicken to steamed fish. She even added another serving of grilled fish in the end.

As a meat lover, Tan Mo hated eating greens.

It was a miracle that she could keep a slim body with how she ate. There was no need for her to exercise to keep fit.

However, she would still order a few vegetable dishes every time.

This time, she ordered a serving of stir-fried long beans.

“I’m done!” Tan Mo sent Wei Zhiqian a message, and he paid for the bill.

“You should start packing. The food’s going to arrive in an hour,” Wei Zhiqian said.

“How did you know I was still lying on the bed? Did you use your hearing power?” Tan Mo asked with an angry pouting emoji.

“Nope. I won’t use it unless I need to. That would be a breach of your privacy,” Wei Zhiqian replied with a voice message. “Do you think I need to use my power to know what you’re doing? You lazy bum.”

When Wei Zhiqian called her a lazy bum, he didn’t do it in an insulting way but a flirting way instead.

Tan Mo’s face turned red and hot when she heard that.

She turned around and grabbed her Bluetooth earbuds from the bedside table.

She had left them there before she went into the shower the night before as she had planned to watch a few episodes of the drama she was watching before going to bed.
