When the staff member standing at the side saw Su Wan asking Fiennes to sign her name, he really wanted to complain that this was against the rules.

However, anyone could see that young master Fiennes was in a bad mood today.

How could he dare to say anything to stop him!

Moreover…

The staff member glanced at Su Wan hesitantly. When he saw the way Su Wan was hurt by the stack of marriage certificates, he felt that Fiennes was too heartless.

It felt like these two people… were not as loving as they appeared in the television interview.

Su Wan’s pale lips trembled. Finally, she reached out her hand and touched the stack of marriage certificates with a trembling hand.

On it were the names of Su Wan and Fiennes. Both of them were signed by Fiennes alone. There was also a long black scratch that Su Wan had accidentally left behind.

Su Wan knew that it didn’t matter whether she signed the marriage contract or not. It was just that, compared to writing it herself, she would rather the person who wrote it was Fiennes.

It was as if she could fool herself into thinking that it had no legal effect…

“Have you seen enough? Go back when you’ve seen enough!”

Fiennes snorted coldly. The voice coming out of his nose was so cold.

Su Wan knew that Fiennes was in a bad mood at the moment, so she didn’t intend to argue with him. She silently picked up the stack of marriage certificates and walked forward.

At the same time, Su Wan glanced at the staff badge of the civil affairs bureau indifferently.

There was the other party’s name on it. Su Wan immediately remembered it.

Wang Yiming, right?!

If she could escape from the Siswell family one day, this staff member named Wang Yiming would be the witness to prove that the marriage was invalid.

This staff member had witnessed with his own eyes that the two words “Su Wan” on the marriage certificate was personally signed by Fiennes!

According to the law, unless it was personally signed by the person themself, it had no legal effect!

Although this was just a trivial trick, what if it was used in the future?

…

After returning to the Siswell family, Fiennes personally led his men out.

Without even asking, she knew that this man must have gone to find Diya’s whereabouts.

Would they be able to find Jiang Xuecheng?

Until now, Su Wan was still deeply convinced that Diya must have fallen into the hands of Jiang Xuecheng.

Probably because Diya had been abducted and disappeared, Su Wan could sense that there seemed to be more and more patrolling guards around her house.

She did not have wings, so how could she escape?

However, judging from Fiennes’ actions, even if she did have wings, she would not be able to leave the Siswell family.

At about 7:30 pm, Fiennes came back.

It was pouring outside the window.

Su Wan did not have an appetite, so she only started to eat dinner now.

She did not expect to hear Xiao Yuan’s scream after she had just eaten a few mouthfuls.

“Young Master Fiennes, why don’t you use an umbrella?”

Su Wan was stunned and quickly walked towards the stairs.

She saw a tall figure standing at the bottom of the stairs. The figure was covered in water droplets and his face was slightly pale. However, his handsome face seemed to be covered with a thick layer of Yin energy.

Along with a sudden flash of lightning outside the window, Fiennes’ face was half-lit and half-shadowed, as if he was going to eat someone at any time.

“Where’s Su Wan?”

Su Wan grabbed the handrail of the stairs and heard Fiennes’ cold voice.

However, probably because he had been caught in too much rain, Fiennes’ voice was a little hoarse, but his imposing manner did not decrease at all. Instead, he appeared even more aggressive than usual.

Xiao Yuan was frightened by Fiennes’ appearance and hurriedly pointed upstairs.

“Miss Su… No, young madam is eating upstairs…”

It was said that Fiennes and Su Wan went to the civil affairs bureau to get their marriage certificate today. However, who knew that the two of them were so unlucky? It was said that before they got their marriage certificate, Miss Diya had disappeared.

Because Diya and Su Wan had a bad past, there were rumors that Diya did not want her brother to marry a woman that she hated, so she simply ran away from home.

To be honest, Miss Diya was such a willful person. She would definitely do something like running away from home.

It was just that…

During this period of time, Su Wan and Miss Diya’s relationship seemed to have eased up a lot. At least, it was not as bad as the rumors said.

…

Hearing Xiao Yuan’s words, Fiennes immediately looked upstairs.

Their eyes met inadvertently.

Su Wan held onto the handle of the stairs and smiled at Fiennes embarrassedly.

“Why did you come here without an umbrella?”

After all, it was raining heavily. Fiennes had come in the rain, and now he looked like a drowned rat.

However, even though his clothes and hair were messed up by the rain, Fiennes did not look embarrassed when he stood there.

Fiennes’ malicious eyes were fixed on Su Wan. His eyes were as cold as knives, as if he wanted to see a layer of flesh on Su Wan’s body.

He quickly walked upstairs.

Soon, he appeared at the place where Su Wan was eating.

He glanced at the slightly cold dishes on the table. His originally cold expression faded a little. Instead, he frowned and asked Su Wan in return.

“Why are you only eating now?”

Su Wan shrugged her shoulders needlessly.

“It’s not like you don’t know that I’ve been infected with the virus. I often have no appetite.”

As Su Wan said this, she carefully looked at Fiennes before finally asking him about serious matters.

“Diya… have you found her?”

Actually, seeing Fiennes coming in the rain with such an ugly expression, Su Wan had already made a rough guess in her heart.

It was very obvious that Fiennes had made a bad start, so he had come to find trouble.

However, Su Wan still pretended to know nothing.

It was better to act harmless under the eaves.

Hearing Su Wan’s question, Fiennes’ face darkened. His handsome face was gloomy like water, which made Su Wan’s heart beat faster.

“Su Wan, I didn’t find Diya. You’re very pleased now, aren’t you?”

After being mercilessly exposed by Fiennes, Su Wan still shamelessly continued to pretend to be innocent.

“I wouldn’t dare, but the person they want is me. Young Master Fiennes, I think you can consider their proposal.”

Fiennes did not speak, but his deep blue eyes were unfathomable. It was impossible to guess his current emotions.

Just as Su Wan was worried, Fiennes suddenly reached out and swept the few dishes on the table!

With a few crisp sounds, the soup, water, and other things were all swept to the ground by Fiennes!

This man must be sick!

The civil affairs bureau had only thrown teacups once! And now he was doing it again!

…

Hearing the sound of the dishes breaking, Xiao Yuan, who was cleaning the vase downstairs, was shocked and immediately shouted to the top worriedly.

“Young Master Fiennes, what’s broken? Are you two okay?”

No one paid attention to Xiao Yuan.

Su Wan looked at Fiennes in shock!

His eyes were bloodshot and ferocious. He stared at her fiercely for a few seconds, as if he was really going to eat her.

Su Wan shivered. She subconsciously grabbed the table and moved closer to the broken dishes. If Fiennes dared to make a move, she would also make a move!
