The Indifferent Young Master's Flash Marriage Chapter 312 – She Cannot Live Without Him

Chapter 312: She Cannot Live Without Him

The rain gradually decreased and the entire S City was enveloped in haze. One look at it made people feel more depressed.

Su Wan kept looking at her phone but there weren’t any messages.

Su Wan bit her pale lips and between hesitation, the smell of blood spread slowly from her lips.

Fear was like a dark-looking devil which was about to dig her heart out.

Su Wan slowly hugged her body. She felt colder and colder, as if she had fallen into a hole in the ice. No matter how she tried, she couldn’t feel warmth.

The scene in the television flashed through her mind. The black Koenigsegg Agera R looked as if it was in the middle of the five cars and the body of the car had been distorted by the strong impact of the collision.

How serious could it be to have been involved in a five-car collision on a highway?

Su Wan blinked and her tears gushed down from her eyes, falling down directly onto her face.

Three years ago, it was the same kind of rainy night when her parents had met with a car accident on the highway.

Would she have to go through that extreme pain again?

It was with great difficulty that she recovered from her pain and the person who healed her was Jiang Xuecheng. Was this just a trick played on her by the heavens?

Su Wan leaned against the seat feebly. There was confusion in her eyes, like a lost child and she looked miserable and pitiful.

Just then, the driver stopped at the traffic light when it turned red. Through the rear-view mirror, he saw Su Wan’s miserable and unkempt look and sympathy arose in his heart.

“Miss, although I don’t know what happened to you, you must believe that ‘blessed are the good men’. Things might not turn out to be as bad as you think.”

Su Wan sniffed and nodded. Her eyes were all red. “Thank you. I believe that ‘blessed are the good men’ too.”

Seeing how Su Wan hugged herself gloomily, the driver sighed and silently switched on the heater.

This was the first time he had switched on the heater in summer. However, he saw that Su Wan was in a terrible state. Although she was a stranger to him, his heart still ached.

After three more crossroads, the car finally arrived at The City Hospital of S City.

Su Wan hastily gave the driver a stack of money. Then, she opened the car door and dashed toward the hospital entrance in a hurry.

“Hey, miss, you’ve given me too much…”

The driver looked at the notes in astonishment. He wanted to call Su Wan but Su Wan couldn’t hear him. Very quickly, that slender figure disappeared into the rain.

In such bad weather, he saw that Su Wan had no umbrella. He frowned and gave Su Wan his blessings silently.

He didn’t expect to see her again and he wished everything would go well for this passenger.

It was now nine at night but there were still many people in The City Hospital of S City.

When the people saw Su Wan’s messy hair and drenched look, they widened their eyes in shock.

Su Wan had no time to bother about how people cast strange looks at her. She stopped a nurse in uniform and asked her with great anxiety.

“Excuse me, do you know where the injured people involved in the five-car collision on the highway between B City and S City are right now?”

Hearing Su Wan’s questions, the onlookers immediately understood why Su Wan was so unkempt.

Something must have happened to her family member. Moreover, it was a five-car collision and it was hard to predict their fate.

The nurse darted a glance at Su Wan and there was sympathy in her eyes.

“They’re on the fifth floor of the emergency building.”

Su Wan nodded and dashed toward the emergency building of the hospital without even saying thank you.

The number beside the elevator showed it was on the tenth floor. The anxious Su Wan couldn’t wait for the elevator to come down. She ran directly to the staircase beside the elevator and with all her might, she dashed up the stairs.

Su Wan had never felt that the stairs were so tortuous and difficult to climb. She panted while she dashed upward, always feeling the stairs ahead were endless and she was unable to reach her destination.

When she saw the sign of the fifth floor, Su Wan’s eyes widened. She gasped for air and ran inside.

Su Wan saw a stretcher passing in front of her. She didn’t know if this was one of the victims of the accident. The gauze on the stretcher looked like it was stained by blood.

The smell of disinfectant in the air was thick but it couldn’t remove the smell of the blood.

Su Wan felt her heart being seized tightly in someone’s palm. She felt suffocated, making her feel like collapsing.

Although it was a distance away, just by looking at the person’s exposed hand, she knew that it was not Jiang Xuecheng.

‘It’s not him. He’ll be fine. Don’t scare yourself…’ She thought.

Su Wan forced herself to suppress her fear. She ran forward quickly and grabbed another nurse’s hand. The most urgent question was spat like bullets. “Nurse, I’m looking for the injured in the car accident on the highway. He’s Mr. Jiang in his twenties.”

“Mr. Chiang?”

The nurse examined Su Wan and saw her unkempt look. Great sympathy arose in her heart.

This girl had run out of her house without changing out of her pyjamas. How anxious could she be?

The nurse covered Su Wan’s palm with the back of her hand, trying to give her some warmth.

“Are you his family? Please be prepared. The patient is now in the emergency room. He was hit hard on his head by the steering wheel and his condition is not good.”

Su Wan’s head exploded with a bang, as if someone had set off a firecracker!

Su Wan broke away from the nurse’s hand and staggered backward.

The nurse said that Jiang Xuecheng’s head had been hit hard and his condition was not good. She wanted her to be prepared…

Panic and fear which were hard to contain hit Su Wan down suddenly!

The nurse sighed and just then, she heard her colleague calling her. So, she didn’t have time to console Su Wan and ran to the emergency room.

Seeing the door of the emergency room closed, her tears ran down like a broken string of beads, blurring Su Wan’s vision that instant.

What should she do if Jiang Xuecheng died?

Liar. He promised to be with her forever in this life and the next life!

Su Wan felt a burning pain. Her heart felt like a heavy load which she couldn’t bear, wanting her to faint right there.

Su Wan even thought she might have done something wrong to have the heavens punish her in this manner. Everyone whom she cared about would not have a good ending.

She was losing him, the man who loved her deeply and she loved deeply.

Su Wan collapsed and cried. There were people walking around her and the hasty footsteps seemed to step heavily on Su Wan’s heart, dismembering her, overwhelming her with great sorrow to the extent she wished to die.

Suddenly, Su Wan felt a shadow in front of her.

“Silly girl, why did you come out in your pajamas? Are you playing Madam White Snake, trying to flood this hospital?”
