The Indifferent Young Master's Flash Marriage Chapter 150 – Missing Dad And Mom

Chapter 150: Missing Dad And Mom

What joke was this? Gu Zihang wanted her to resign to rest at home and face the old hag all day long?

Was there anything else scarier in this world?

If there really was a little life beginning in Su Yurou’s stomach, it might still be a suggestion to consider.

However, Su Yurou was not pregnant!

Su Yurou knew clearly that if she had to rest at home to take care of her non-existing baby, with the wisdom of the old hag, Du Huimin, her false pregnancy would be discovered sooner or later!

Du Huimin didn’t like her and once she were to be exposed, the results would be unimaginable!

At the thought of that possibility, Su Yurou broke out in goosebumps. She took a deep breath and, choking on her words, said, “Zihang, I just got pregnant. I don’t want to give up on my work. Zihang, could you let me be an independent woman of the new century? I’ll rest in a few more months. Is that okay?”

Although they were apart, Gu Zihang could hear Su Yurou’s sob and could imagine her crying look.

Gu Zihang let out a long sigh. He actually didn’t like Su Yurou to work and appear in public.

He was an exceptionally traditional man who hoped his wife would stay home to assist him and educate the children and be a woman behind his back.

When Gu Zihang was silent, Su Yurou sniffed and her voice was broken.

“Zihang, I seldom beg you but I really do not wish to stay at home. I want to show my abilities, s could you please give me a chance?”

Su Yurou had always been obedient towards him. Hence, Gu Zihang did not expect Su Yurou to use this to deceive him.

After a moment of hesitation, he finally let go of his worries and agreed.

“Alright then, now that your morning sickness is not obvious. If you feel uncomfortable later on, please do not struggle to hold on. Pregnant women need to take care of their health. Don’t cry, it’s not good for the baby.”

Su Yurou sobs turned into laughter. “Zihang, you are so nice to me. I’ll take care and not hurt our baby.”

At the thought of that little life in its mother’s body, Gu Zihang couldn’t help smiling. The experience of being a father is much more beautiful than he had imagined.

At the same time, in Fontainebleau, Su Wan was still immersed in her dream. She was smiling, obviously in a good mood.

She held the hand of her young and pretty mother while her father walked behind them. All three of them were crossing the road.

Suddenly, a big truck came roaring and before Su Wan could respond, her parents had pushed her aside.

Su Wan’s tiny body fell over to the side of the road and she watched as her parents were run over by the big truck.

Her mother was thrown into the air and her white dress floated in the wind, just like a beautiful white rose, blooming in the wind and then withering bit by bit till nothing was left.

Bang! A loud noise was heard and the irritating sound of a car braking reverberated through the entire street.

Su Wan widened her eyes and her body kept trembling. When she saw her parents lying in a pool of blood, she opened her mouth, trying to shout, but nothing came out from her mouth.

The time and scene seemed to have frozen that moment. Su Wan’s mind went blank and she lost all consciousness.

Until Su Wan sensed something had happened, a throbbing pain attacked her heart and her tears kept gushing down her cheeks.

“No!”

An uncontrollable bitterness surged up from Su Wan’s heart. Because of this intense fear, she seized her wrist tightly and her forehead was filled with sweat.

In the blink of an eye, Su Wan’s body trembled and her heavy eyelids slowly opened. She found herself lying on the couch at home.

In a trance, Su Wan stared at the antique clock in the living hall and realized it was 11.30am.

It turned out that she had a nightmare.

Su Wan’s beautiful brows knitted tightly and her face was pale. She held onto the blanket covering her tightly and sighed.

She really missed her father and mother…

On the day Su Wan’s parents had met with the accident, she had not actually been with them. When she arrived at the hospital, she was notified that her parents could not be saved.

Until now, they had not found the person who had caused the accident. Su Wan did not even know who the murderer was.

Since that car accident, her world turned topsy-turvy. Three years had passed but such nightmares had not stopped.

The year she went to Dong Cheng Country, her depression was very serious. She had almost been driven mad by her nightmares. After receiving psychotherapy for a long time, she slowly became better.

Su Wan wiped away the sweat on her forehead. She took a deep breath, trying to release her emotions.

Suddenly, Su Wan heard the door opening.

Su Wan looked up and saw a tall figure appearing at the entrance. She was stunned and asked subconsciously, “Xuecheng, you’re back too?”

“Ah Si told me you’re not feeling well. Since I have nothing important to attend to today, I’ve come back to have a look.”

Su Wan examined the man who was changing into his house slippers. Today, he wore a clean pastel-colored shirt without a necktie. On his arms was an outer coat. He was tall and thin.

After changing into his house slippers, Jiang Xuecheng walked toward Su Wan. When he walked near Su Wan, he discovered that Su Wan’s appearance was sickly.

“Wan Wan, why are you so pale?”

Jiang Xuecheng walked quickly towards Su Wan. Worry crept into his dark eyes.

“I’m fine. I just had a nightmare.”

Su Wan supported her forehead and smiled faintly toward him but her face was pale and she looked weak.

Jiang Xuecheng looked at Su Wan and his heart softened. A trace of love and care flashed through his eyes.

“Is it because of today’s shareholders’ meeting?”

Su Wan’s eyes moved. She looked at Jiang Xuecheng’s straight body and knew that he was worried about her. She felt touched.

Su Wan was silent for a moment and then shook her head. “No, I dreamed of my parents…”

As she said this, her eyes turned dull.

Jiang Xuecheng saw Su Wan’s pain. He had investigated about her parents’ accident back then.

Although there was no substantial progress, Jiang Xuecheng could at least confirm that the day Su Wan’s parents met with an accident, it had been raining and someone had sabotaged the surveillance cameras on that street.

That meant, Su Wan’s parents’ death was not an accident because of the weather but a carefully planned murder!

However, before this was made clear, Jiang Xuecheng was not ready to tell Su Wan about it.
