He didn’t expect Lu Li to accept his request straight away. Furthermore, the accepted price was the initial offer of 500,000 too. Infinite Starry Sky was left speechless.

However, compared to the value that he had in Lu Li’s memories, 500,000 was insignificant.

In Lu Li’s previous life, Infinite Starry Sky had priced his services at one million dollars per machine. There was also the condition that he would always take one away for himself for every batch.

Unfortunately, he had come into contact with Lu Li who had been reborn. Lu Li wasn’t as extravagant as Sorrowless when recruiting people into their ranks.

“Starry Sky, from now onwards, we are brothers. If I have something to eat, then you will not be hungry either.”

Lu Li said this with a genuinely happy expression while resting his hand on Infinite Starry Sky’s shoulder. Infinite Starry Sky had goose bumps while Lu Li was saying this and was touched as well.

What a man! Lu Li was known to be extremely stingy, yet he immediately accepted his offer without a second thought. What was there to think about?

Gentlemen die for those who appreciate them!

Soon after this, the news that Glory Capital was going to attack the three-club alliance’s Stronghold spread throughout Dawn. Everyone knew that Ruling Sword would be facing the full wrath of Glory Capital. No one wanted to intervene, because they knew that they would be the next target.

If they wanted to help Ruling Sword, they could. However, it was unknown whether or not Ruling Sword would be able to help them out in the future.

Jade Flower Lover, who originally wanted to keep fighting with Ruling Sword, also retreated. This was because despite the combined forces of many of their allies, they still lost and paid the price of a Stronghold.

No one knew just how terrifying the Infernals were unless they experienced them firsthand.

No one knew how many more of the Infernal scrolls Glory Capital still had. Jade Flower Lover didn’t want to see any more Infernals. If Glory Capital went to fight Ruling Sword and its allies’ Strongholds, then it wouldn’t affect Blood Red War Flag. This was because Glory Capital also had many of their own Strongholds that needed defending, so that was financially taxing as well. Naturally, Blood Red War Flag would be left untouched.

There were no new Strongholds released this week, so the focus was on conquering the existing Strongholds.

Ruling Sword and its allies had seven Strongholds in total. Ruling Sword had two of their own. The Life Alliance had one, Drizzle Court had two, and Peerless City also had two.

Glory Capital had four Strongholds of their own, while Gale Legion also had Desolace under control. However, Glory Capital still had the resources to attack constantly. On the other hand, Ruling Sword was just begging for others to ignore them.

There were five Fel Reavers that had been constructed. Lu Li gave one to the Life Alliance, two to Drizzle Court and left two for themselves.

Obviously, they wouldn’t use both of them at the same time. This was a tool to use in the most desperate situations. According to Lu Li’s arrangement, he planned to focus all of his defence on one Stronghold. No matter who it was, it would be hard to break Lu Li’s defences if he focused all of his strength into one Stronghold. As for the other Stronghold, he planned to place a Fel Reaver there.

He believed that Glory Capital didn’t have many Infernal scrolls left.

Infernals were Boss-like existences. Furthermore, their combat was automated and didn’t follow instructions. They were much weaker than a Fel Reaver. Ruling Sword could control these Fel Reavers to fight.

The anticipated battle between two of the strongest clubs in Dawn was coming up soon. Even Lu Li was keen to see what results his gift would yield on the battlefield.

He believed that Sorrowless’ expression would be priceless upon seeing the Fel Reaver.

However, there were too many plot twists in this world. The end result of the Stronghold bids left a priceless expression on Lu Li’s face.

Why had Sorrowless ignored him? Why had Sorrowless ignored all six of their Strongholds? Each of them were prepared to face Glory Capital, but their target was instead…

Blood Red War Flag!

Jade Flower Lover thought that Glory Capital would be targeting Ruling Sword. He even sent Lu Li a few words of encouragement. However, he was completely dumbfounded upon finding out that Glory Capital was attacking their Tanaris Stronghold instead.

This was their last straw!

The Stronghold at Silithus had already been stolen and they were still crying about that. However, they were now once again being attacked by Glory Capital’s main force.

Jade Flower Lover wanted to fight against Azure Guard and take the second Stronghold at Tanaris from them so that they could have the whole Tanaris to themselves.

Unfortunately, it didn’t matter whether they had the first Stronghold or Azure Guard’s second Stronghold in Tanaris. Both of the Strongholds were Glory Capital’s targets.

“Don’t use the Fel Reaver. We’ll save it. I don’t believe that Sorrowless can just sit still and endure for his whole life,” Lu Li instructed. He was like a wife of a man who had just run off with a mistress. He was furious and everyone around him felt his aura.

“Mobilise everything that we have and head towards Mo’arg Engineer and Brutal Razorsaw. We will not allow anyone else to have the Fel Reaver.”

It seemed that Glory Capital had purposely leaked the news that they were going to attack Ruling Sword. This was to lower the guard of Blood Red War Flag. Then, when Blood Red War Flag began to relax, it would already be too late. From the time of the Stronghold bids to the beginning of the Stronghold battles, there was only a window of one hour. There was not enough time to source external reinforcements.

External reinforcements needed to join the club for a minimum of 24 hours to be eligible to fight.

From then onwards, in the future, the time was going to be tighter. The defensive side would only find out who they were against only when the battle began. Additionally, external reinforcements would need to join the club for a whole week before they were able to participate in the Stronghold battles.

This was also why Lu Li didn’t want to pursue for more Strongholds. They wouldn’t be able to defend them even if they managed to take them.

However, taking a Stronghold and then selling it was not a bad idea either. If only they knew earlier that Glory Capital wasn’t coming to attack them, Lu Li would have gone and attacked someone else.

Compared to what Blood Red War Flag was facing, Lu Li’s worries were nothing. When a little more than ten Infernals dropped on top of the Tanaris Stronghold walls, Blood Red War Flag were doomed to face a tough battle.

From the accounts of the people who witnessed the battle, the entrance of the Infernals was extremely impressive. A large, green-coloured rock fell from the sky and smashed into the Stronghold walls, destroying a significant portion of their durability. Then, the rock would stand up as a gigantic Infernal covered in green flames.
