Chapter 1629: Flashy Name List

Strongholds were indeed the most trending thing right now. The top clubs were all fighting for it. Even if you had players it was no guarantee you could get it. Even if you did get it, there was no guarantee you could hold it.

“Not saying right now, but I hope Ruling Sword gain control of a third stronghold for the Life Professional Alliance. We are currently training our city guarding team. There are 80 elite players that Life Profession can afford,” Half-Life Crystal explained.

Lu Li didn’t expect she would request such a thing.

But when he thought about it, it made perfect sense. Any organisation would want a stronghold for themselves. This group of Life Professionals were naturally of no exception.

They were usually settled in Stormwind City or Lu Li’s Black Sea Coast Stronghold. But at the end of the day, these weren’t their own place.

No wonder she invited many top mercenaries, or directly sought out mercenary groups to help them attack strongholds. They had even offered to buy a stronghold with money, but unfortunately failed in the end.

Ordinary clubs feared them, small-medium sized guilds were scared of them, but the top clubs didn’t view them as threats.

In the gaming world, fighting capabilities was the most important ability after all. Life Professionals did indeed have money, but none of the top guilds were poor. Even the Gods of Dusk, a club that was nearing its end, couldn’t be convinced with money.

“You help us get it. All expenses we will cover, and we will protect it ourselves,” Half-Life Crystal continued.

“You sure you guys can hold onto it?” Lu Li wasn’t so convinced in this aspect of Life Profession Alliance. If it was rushing to get an order of equipment or medicine, no matter how big, this organisation would complete it within the shortest amount of time. But a stronghold was different.

Even though being on the defense was more advantageous than on the attack. One aspect was the geographic advantage of the city wall, another aspect was that there was already an arrangement of 80 people guarding it. However, the side attacking had 280 candidates. Even if it was Ruling Sword, Lu Li wasn’t that confident in holding onto a third stronghold.

Hence, why he had delayed conquering the new stronghold.

“Don’t look down on us. Our abilities are beyond your imagination. Let me show you a name list.” Half-Life Crystal boasted with exceptionally confidence.

After reading the name list, Lu Li was still unsure if Life Professional Alliance could guard the stronghold. However, he was still blinded by how flashy the names on this name list were. This girl in front of him was crazy!

A Straw in the Wind was the celebrity competitor for Gangnam Royals. He had disappeared from the scene after leaving Gangnam Royals, and no one had heard him signing to any other club.

Countless club and capitals had gone crazy trying to contact this person. They all wanted to have him for themselves. However, he had entered into a scattered organisation of Life Professional players. This was absurd.

Did you know how strong A Straw in the Wind was?!

Before Lu Li’s debut, Blood Dagger, Song of Sorrow, Wood Fearing, Midnight Ghost, A Straw in the Wind, Yew and Water Fairy were known by gaming players as the seven Great God-level Thieves.

He had killed many celebrity players including Sorrowless.

“How did you get A Straw in the Wind? This doesn’t make logical sense,” Lu Li rubbed his eyes. The name on the name list was still shining bright in and of itself.

“Very simple. His sister was in our Alliance. So, there was no need to convince him. He just naturally joined his own,” Half-Life Crystal was very satisfied with herself, with her little canine teeth showing.

 “Hmph!”

Stuff him! Stupid sis-loving brother! Where did his integrity as a player go?

Lu Li shook his head, “You guys don’t have the ability to get him back onto the arena. He’s a celebrity player. He’s made to shine on the stage.”

“Who said that all celebrity players must go on the arena?” Half-Life Crystal glared at Lu Li, “He’s sick of the arena. So, it was better to just play games with his sister.”

Well, there wasn’t anything wrong with that.

“Chu Shi? Is this THE legendary Chu Shi?!” Lu Li asked as he pointed at the second name. He was actually already certain. But since his opposition wanted to shock him on purpose, so she put the most shocking names at the front. This person was placed second so there couldn’t be anyone else other than the legendary Chu Shi.

In fact, the shock that Chu Shi gave Lu Li wasn’t as much as A Straw in the Wind.

Chu Shi wasn’t a competitor. His abilities was also not considered the best of the best, but his position in the gaming circle was very important. Even if Sorrowless saw him, he would bow down and call him ‘teacher’.

There was a club called Stellar Union.

This club had once forced Sorrowless to a corner. Whenever he thought back to that time, it still made him tremble and would even wake up in the middle of the night. In order to withstand Stellar Union’s pressure, he had stayed in the game for pretty much 24 hours.

When he and his team was at their worst, they had begun to pessimistically discuss their plan B after bankruptcy.

At the time, Stellar Union’s tactics were famous all over the world. Its chief tactical master was called Chu Shi. Many game command theories originated from him. nearly all the commanders drew wisdom from him.

Even Lu Li lately had been analysing his past cases to learn.

Later, Stellar Union’s host left the gaming circle after some incident in real life. The new host and Chu Shi didn’t get along, so Chu Shi sadly left.

From then on, the Stellar Union who used to oppress Glory Capital to the point of tears begun to fade. Present day Stellar Union was barely hanging on in the top ten guilds and was nearly at its limit.

The Stellar Union today only had Twilight as its celebrity player. At its peak, it had four star players and nearly as many as seven or eight who had star player abilities.

Stellar Union now always called for Chu Shi’s return.

Even the once arrogant host was expressing in public how he hoped that Chu Shi would return to Stellar Union in spite of their past.

“Don’t tell me this guy has a sister too,” Lu Li didn’t have any more strength to roast.

 “Nope, he’s just a Life Professional player…”

“What?!” Lu Li was already on the ground and couldn’t get up.

Glacial Autumn Wind!

Even though he wasn’t a competitor, no one would question him as the strongest Hunter.

He was known as the Kite King and had some sort of stealth skill. His greatest achievement was fighting a boss on his own. At present, he and Lu Li were the only two recognised as having the abilities to fight bosses on their own. In reality, Lu Li could only fight bosses of the same level alone in the past, but people like Glacial Autumn Wind could still fight some bosses alone.

In Lu Li’s past life, Glacial Autumn Wind was prohibited by several large guilds. He then became a murder maniac and disappeared off the scene. It’s unknown whether he was forced out of the game or maybe he just fell of the radar.

If there was one person that Lu Li wanted to headhunt for his club, it was without a doubt this No. 1 hunter.

Comparing Remnant Dream to him, other than the fact she had better luck, the rest was just pretty much a comparison of who was cuter.

“This person was a total accident, but now he’s probably too lazy to leave,” Half-Life Crystal shrugged her shoulders.

He had heard this person was very lazy, but lazy to the point of withdrawing from a club was a new level of laziness. Of course, being in the Life Professional Alliance at least made this lonely person feel like he was living at ease.
