Chapter 1203: Lost Justice

Lost Justice (Unique): All attributes +1, Movement Speed +20%, Special Effect: Enemy Faction Favour +3, Equipment Level Requirement: None, Durability: None.

Of course, the all attributes +1 was pointless, it was more for show. What interested Lu Li was the special effect. He wasn’t unfamiliar with it. In his previous life, he heard that Cut Me 72 Times from Stellar Union had an item which gave him +5 favour points from the Alliance, which apparently allowed him to shop at Stormwind City.

From the points that he had received, Lu Li’s Lost Justice wasn’t as great, but this item didn’t just provide a boost in favour of the Horde faction. If a Horde player received this, then they in turn would gain a boost in favour of the Alliance.

The only downside was that this was a badge, and every player only had 2 badge slots, so one of the equipped badges would need to be replaced.

But of course, this didn’t get in the way of completing a quest. There was no need to battle in the first place and the badge also gave Lu Li extra movement speed.

Surprisingly, Lu Li knew the dispatch commander. It was the Tauren boss from before who taunted him and told him that he wouldn’t even be able to get close to a Wind Wielder. However, this time he was a different person when he saw Lu Li. Instead of being spiteful, he came forward and slapped his left chest with his right hand as he asked strictly, “Warrior from the forest, is there anything that I can do to help?”

Strictly speaking, Raug was a neutral NPC. After all, Alliance members were now allowed to come over to Stonard as well.

However, his respectful manner truly surprised Lu Li, despite only having +3 favour points from the enemy faction. It was no wonder that Cut Me 72 Times could walk around Stormwind City with his +5 favour point item.

Lu Li wondered what would happen if he used the Deception Orb with the badge.

Of course, he wouldn’t try now as it might cause unnecessary trouble.

“Respected Commander, I’ve been asked by someone to scout for some information…”

After he heard about the story from Lu Li, Commander Raug thought for a moment and his expression wasn’t exactly pleased.

“Pardon me, but do you suspect that I’ve hidden the command sent from above? Elf, I hope you can clear your eyes; it isn’t Raug’s first day being a dispatcher!”

“I’m sorry, but this is a Tauren’s dead soul that’s been wondering around in the wilds of the Blasted Lands. He needs an answer,” Lu Li said.

“Alright, I can understand how you feel. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’ve got responsibilities to handle, I’d gladly pay him a visit. The elite scouts of our Chief are the most loyal heroes of the Horde,” Commander Raug said, softening his tone, then recalled his memories and continued, “but I’m certain that I’ve sent out that command from Chief a long time ago.”

“Who did you send it to, can we still find them?” Lu Li asked.

“Because it’s a command from Chief Thrall. I sent an entire team of people. Only a soldier called Bengor survived – if you can really call that surviving. Apparently, he can only eat through straws now, and can barely talk.”

“Oh, so only he knows about this?” Lu Li asked.

“I’m afraid so,” Commander Raug said remorsefully, “This is my fault; I should’ve sent others to keep tracking the situation. Bengor is located at the back in the injury barracks. The swamp is filled with dangerous creatures, so if you’re headed there, be careful.”

Lu Li thanked him for his kindness and headed over to the injury barracks. Hopefully, Bengor would be able to speak by now. Lu Li wasn’t worried about Bengor dying as he was just an NPC with a quest.

Bengor rested in an average-looking tent for the injured. His condition was horrible – the strong soldier now lay flat on a bed and was barely breathing. The old Tauren who looked after him said that he probably wouldn’t be around for long.

The war between the factions seemed to have reduced the importance of life and death. The situation was sad, but it did not feel that way for some strange reason.

Lu Li knelt down next to the injured soldier and asked about the command.

Bengor’s scattered gaze suddenly focused. He tried to sit up but could only writhe around like a worm.

Lu Li couldn’t bear to watch anymore and reached out to help. He never knew that the Tauren race, who were all strong like bulls, could be so frail. Then, he heard the soft voice of Bengor.

“Command…yes… we received… received the command. On the way to Blasted Lands, we were ambushed…” Bengor coughed vigorously. It seemed like recalling the past really affected him, but he still continued to speak.

“Murlocs…a lot of Murlocs… A Murloc called the Swamp Talker took the command off me and… stabbed its long spear into my skull. It should be located in the caves in…the east…”

After the last two words, Bengor passed out.

Lu Li placed him down gently, summoned his mount and rushed towards the east side of the barracks.

If he was an average player, he would probably be lost in this wilderness. However, this wasn’t a possibility for Lu Li and he headed straight to the gathering spot of the Murlocs.

The cave of the Murlocs wasn’t deep. It was similar to the habitat of other Murlocs – wet, dark, slimy, and filled with the stench of fish. The Murlocs were almost everywhere in Azeroth and often committed all sorts of evil.

Although there were plenty of Murlocs guarding the cave, they weren’t capable of discovering a Thief that was proficient at Stealth.

Without much effort, Lu Li found the Swamp Talker. It was a grey-skinned Murloc who led the other Murlocs to attack the messenger and stole the command. However, Lu Li couldn’t understand why these Murlocs would want something like this; he had never seen a race with such a death wish. This was Chief Thrall’s command, and if it wasn’t for the fact that a war was going on, there’d definitely be Tauren Warriors trampling all over this place.

Regardless, Lu Li needed to get the command and hand it to the dead soul that was still waiting.

The Swamp Talker wasn’t an easy boss. It was skilled with lightning magic and it also knew a bit of healing magic. Under normal circumstances, it’d require a team or at least some help to take down. Only top players like Lu Li would be able to handle this level 60 elite monsters alone, and soon, a dead fish lay before his feet.

He had to repress his feelings of disgust and pray that he was lucky this time. Who knew how long these quest monsters would take to refresh?

Fortunately, an envelope appeared in Lu Li’s hand in the first trial. He checked the name, and it was the right item – Thrall’s Command.

He flew straight past the injury barracks without stopping. There was no point in telling Bengor that he had already slain the Swamp Talker. It was better to hurry and finish the quest.

This time, Lu Li finally managed to borrow a Wind Wielder from Stonard. The 280% movement speed boost mount flew like lightning. Most importantly, he didn’t have to go around danger zones anymore. Any units that ran across the Wind Wielder in the air would back away. This made Lu Li guess that the Wind Wielder was at least a level 60 boss model.
