The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 2412 – Rebuild Merfolk’s Hometown (Chapter 2)

 Chapter 2412: Rebuild Merfolk’s Hometown (2)

“Elder sister.” Unable to face all this, Xi Yan subconsciously swam to Shen Yanxiao’s side to seek safety.

“Xi Yan, this is your hometown where your people used to live. Satan’s arrival destroyed the beauty of this

place and slaughtered all your companions. Xi Yan, from now on, you are the new merfolk ruler. You must

inherit your father’s legacy and use Neptune’s trident to summon your people together again to resist the

invasion of the Devil Race.” Shen Yanxiao looked at Xi Yan, who was at a loss. As far as experience was

concerned, Xi Yan was like a newly born child. She was so ignorant about everything in this world, but as

things stood, she had to sit on the position of the supreme commander of the Merfolk Race.

“Elder sister, I’m afraid… I can’t do it…” Xi Yan leaned against Shen Yanxiao in panic, her body shivering.

She simply could not imagine herself leading her people against Satan, who had killed all her compatriots;

even more, she didn’t even know what it was like to be a ruler.

“Good Xi Yan, I know you’re afraid, but this is your responsibility. If you don’t do this, one day in the future,

all the merpeople living in this ocean will suer the destruction of the their own towns; not only the

merfolk, but human beings, dwarves, elves, dragons… all races will be doomed. That’s why you must be

strong: for your father, for your people, and also for yourself.” Shen Yanxiao knew that she could not

relent now. The alliance against the Devil Race had lost the most crucial gures— the gods. The strength

of the alliance at present was very dierent from that of the Devil Race. The power of each race was

crucial to them. If the merpeople could not ght with them, then it was uncertain whether they could

defeat the Devil Race. After all, there were more merpeople than any other race.

Once the alliance was defeated, the merpeople who avoided the world would not be spared. With Satan’s

character, his victory indicated the extinction of all races.

Xi Yan bit her lip and her heart was full of struggle. It was not like she hated this responsibility, but she

was too young and too simple. She had never been in contact with war and had never ordered anyone.

Before Shen Yanxiao found her, she was just a blind, little mermaid under house arrest in a secret room.

“Elder sister, will that bad guy really reappear?” Xi Yan asked quietly.

Shen Yanxiao answered her honestly, “Yes, and when he reappears, he will no longer be alone. He will

attack all the races in the world with his people and his army.”

The three-year period was running out. Satan’s power had returned to its peak and the battle was about

to begin.

“I will do it. I will try my best not to let him have another chance to hurt the merpeople.” Xi Yan nally

summoned up the courage to raise her head. She was the last hope of the Merfolk Race. She must not

inch.

Fear and confusion must be abandoned!

She would no longer live for herself.

Shen Yanxiao’s face revealed a smile. She held Xi Yan in her arms and kissed her on the forehead, then

she let go of her and handed over Neptune’s trident.

“This is the Sea God’s divine weapon. This protects the safety of the Merfolk Race and symbolizes your

status as the ruler of the merfolk.”

Xi Yan’s two hands clasped Neptune’s trident, and her trembling body seemed to be about to lose its

balance.

“Elder sister.”

“Hm?”

“This thing is too heavy for me to carry…” Xi Yan’s voice was almost crying.
