The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 2224 – Abyss Mithril (Chapter 1)

Chapter 2224: Abyss Mithril (1)

Mimi Si didn’t look happy about the price. She was still very calm and looked at Gege Lu instead.

“How about it?”

“A bunch of blind fools.” Gege Lu grunted.

“Gege Lu, when can you change your prejudice against pharmacists?” Mimi Si sighed.

“Never! I hate pharmacists! We are both guilds and yet Pharmacist Guild are treated so much better than the Alchemist Guild, but what about their achievements?” Gege Lu had always felt very indignant about this. Alchemists consumed more than pharmacists did, but the price of their alchemy products was not as valuable as a few bottles of potions. They worked so hard and spent countless gold coins to make alchemy products, yet it was worse than a few small bottles of potion. The life of alchemists was not easy.

“Gege Lu, I know you have great opinions about the difference in treatment between pharmacists and alchemists, but have you ever thought that although alchemists can increase our fighting strength, there hasn’t been any war in the Storm Continent for a long time, and everyone is peaceful? On the other hand, some diseases and accidental injuries have brought us unavoidable losses. A bottle of potion is likely to be able to save a life. So is the potion really as useless as you think? Have you forgotten that when you almost died of illness, it was master…”

“Mimi Si! That’s enough!” Gege Lu was quite stirred up all of a sudden, he interrupted Mimi Si, “I know you love your pharmaceutics, but it has nothing to do with my attitude. I am very grateful to your master for saving my life, but if it were not for this, you would not have been summoned to the capital city by our king. You…”

Mimi Si pursed her lips. At that time, Mimi Si was just an ordinary pharmacist, and although she was gifted, she had no chance to get in touch with the king. But not long after going to Puko’s, Gege Lu became seriously ill and Mimi Si stayed up by his bed for days and nights to take care of his body, but the pain was too fierce. Even after applying everything she learned her whole life, Mimi Si still failed to improve Gege Lu’s condition.

It was not until Mimi Si’s master appeared that Gege Lu was brought to the capital city for treatment, and Mimi Si, as Gege Lu’s lover, naturally went to the capital city with him.

Once in the capital city, the most advanced place in pharmaceutics, Mimi Si’s talent was released, and her level in pharmaceutics advanced by leaps and bounds, which eventually attracted the king’s attention.

From that moment on, Mimi Si could never return to Puko’s.

After recovering from the illness, Gege Lu returned to Puko’s alone, while Mimi Si remained in the capital city forever and became a royal pharmacist.

The incident caused great trauma to Gege Lu’s heart and made him very resistant to the pharmacists.

Every time Gege Lu saw Kaka Qi, he would always think of Mimi Si. He always thought that if it weren’t for that accident, the president of the Pukos Pharmacist Guild would be Mimi Si, and they would not have split up completely.

The different treatments between the two guilds and the complete break-up between lovers became the main reason why Gege Lu disliked pharmacists very much.

Mimi Si knew the knot in Gege Lu’s heart, but she couldn’t do anything about it. She could only sit quietly beside Gege Lu and continue to watch the auction process.

After the climax with the potion was over, the person in charge of the auction came to the auction stand carrying a brocade box. He put the brocade box on the table and slowly opened it.

A piece of metal twinkling with a silver luster lay quietly in the brocade box.
