The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 2031 – Take Risks and Gamble (Chapter 2)

Chapter 2031: Take Risks and Gamble (2)

Shen Yanxiao looked at the ustered Vermillion Bird and said in a warm voice, “If we can change the thinking of the undead, there is still room for change.”

This was taking risks, and also a gamble.

Shen Yanxiao gambled with her own safety on whether the undead would change or not.

If the gods still existed, Shen Yanxiao might not have made such a risky decision, but the current situation was not optimistic at all.

The God Race had already fallen, leaving only three gods in the entire world.

The Dragon God had not yet acquired his divine body. Shen Siyu had become a demigod due to the loss of his godhood. Xiu had always been in a soul state. It could be said that in the future battle against the devils, the strength of the gods that they could rely on was too weak.

After the last battle between gods and devils, the top forces of the major races had been depleted, and the nearly ten thousand years of recuperation still failed to restore each race to its peak.

The absence of the God Race and the scarcity of power at the pinnacle would plunge them into a bitter battle.

Their present strength was simply incomparable to that of the allied forces of the six major races in the previous war between gods and devils. They had a pitiful lack of combat power in their hands.

If they were to deal with the army of the devils and the undead in their present situation, the conclusion could be imagined.

Even if they didn’t suer a crushing defeat, they would still have to pay a hefty price, perhaps the annihilation of their whole army, in order to win. What was more? Shen Yanxiao inferred that the probability of winning with their present strength was unacceptably low.

Faced with such a predicament, Shen Yanxiao had no choice but to take this step. As long as there was a slight chance of drawing the undead to their side, she would not give up.

If she succeeded, she could reduce the enemy’s strength and, at the same time, she could add a powerful army to their alliance. It must be known that the essence of the undead was similar to that of the devils. On the battleeld, the damage dealt to the undead by the devils was far less than

that dealt to any other race.

The undead were absolutely a great weapon against the devils.

“You’re crazy! Why would the undead betray the devils? How could they suddenly choose to

abandon them when they have been depending so much on the Devil Race?” Vermillion Bird thought that Shen Yanxiao’s idea was just too insane. They had already found the trace of Satan, yet at this time she still insisted on staying in the Howling Abyss to persuade the undead, which was basically putting herself in danger.

It was possible for her to be discovered in minutes. Once she was found, the only road left for Shen Yanxiao was death.

“I have to.” Shen Yanxiao smiled wryly. She never thought that one day she would stand in such a position where she must shoulder the survival of human beings, establish contact with all the races as the human representative, and rebuild the alliance. But now that she had such a responsibility, she must shoulder this heavy burden.

If she withdrew now, the hope of mankind would be extinguished.

“Go, do what you want.” Xiu awe-inspiringly opened his mouth, and his voice did not have any trace of uctuation, revealing his complete support for Shen Yanxiao.

The Dragon God looked silently at Shen Yanxiao. He had no intention of opposing her idea as well.

As gods, both of them had experienced the previous battle between gods and devils, and they knew better than anyone else about the tragedy of that battle. Hence, they were more aware that Shen Yanxiao’s choice was not wrong.

It could be said that she made the most correct choice at the most critical time.

It was just, whether they could travel down this road or not, none of them knew.

“Lord Xiu!” Vermillion Bird looked at Xiu, quite stirred up.

Xiu drooped his eyes slightly.

“If Little Xiao is found, I will send her away from the Howling Abyss.”
