The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1506 – Counterattack, Commence! (Chapter 2)

Chapter 1506 – Counterattack, Commence! (2)

But Shen Yanxiao’s counterattack was only beginning.

Half of the Lan Yue Dynasty’s siege weapons were lost, causing an uproar in the alliance of four countries. All the

troops began to take care of their siege weapons. Qu Xun even had some soldiers stand directly on the siege

weapons to guard them, and almost wanted to tie himself to it.

However, strange things did not happen again.

Everything that night seemed to have been a dream.

The armored horses of the four-nation alliance continued to move in the direction of The Rising Sun City.

On the side of Shen Yanxiao, Tang Nazhi and Li Xiaowei led all the disciples of Black Tortoise Clan to quickly rush

to the city after the Baizhou City. The Black Tortoise Clan’s battle arrays had a of use at this moment.

By the time the alliance of the four countries attacked Baizhou City, Tang Nazhi and Li Xiaowei had already laid

out traps and arrays on the road to the next city, waiting for the armies of the four-nation alliance.

After a few days, the alliance visited this seemingly simple land.

However, they were greeted by a series of strange and incomparable arrays. Nearly 100,000 troops were trapped in

hundreds of arrays and could not get out of trouble.

Jiang Wan and others had not had time to rescue the trapped soldiers yet when the men in the middle guard

detonated a trap buried in the ground.

In an instant, rumbling sounds continued to echo. The flames blazed and there were explosions, one after another.

Every trap was triggered, which caused more than tens of thousands of soldiers to be affected.

For a time, the vanguard troops of the four-nation alliance were like flying chickens and jumping dogs.

The arrays and traps had successively cast a layer of tragic color on the alliance of the four countries.

“What is going on here?”

Even the most calm Shi Heng was distraught by all this.

They could not move on with the traps all over the path, not to mention moving the siege weapons.

A little carelessness would trigger a series of traps, which would not only make them suffer heavy casualties, but

also cause some damage to their siege weapons

The commanders of the four countries immediately issued orders to stop the advancement. In the face of these

excellently hidden traps, they could only send one team as a suicide squad and carefully remove the traps.

However, even though this reduced their damage, it also delayed their approach.

Before, they could take down a city in three days, but now they needed to spend about five days to eliminate the

traps alone.

Furthermore, just eliminating the traps on the ground already cost them thousands of soldiers.

The four commanders unanimously cursed the eighteen generations of Shen Yanxiao’s ancestors in their hearts!

The moment they adapted to Shen Yanxiao’s method of counterattack, she would change to a new way of dealing

with them, and each one could make the four-nation alliance tearless.

The four countries put in effort to locate all the traps. On the other side, Tang Nazhi and Li Xiaowei did not relax at

all. They arranged all kinds of traps on the roads of every subsequent city, all of which were the masterpiece of the

Black Tortoise Clan.

To this end, Tang Ao contributed all the stocks in the Black Tortoise Clan’s warehouse.

The thousands of years of accumulation of this great clan was enough for the soldiers of the four countries to eat a

loss.

At the same time, Yang Xi carried out the modification to the more than eighty siege weapons that had been stolen

back with all the Forgemen of the Azure Dragon Clan, and hoped that these siege weapons could be completely

remodelled before the final battle, so as to protect The Rising Sun City!
