The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1314 – Sealed Off (Chapter 2)

Chapter 1314 – Sealed Off (2)

Upon hearing Shen Yanxiao’s question, the elf said at once, “So it is about them, ah. I am not very clear about it

myself, but I have heard that the Moonshine Trading House violated the rules of the Elf King before that restricts

any elves from doing gemstone trading with human beings. Because they privately traded for gemstones with

human beings, their trading house has been sealed off.”

Shen Yanxiao was a bit stunned. Others did not know how the Moonshine Trading House had gotten their hands on

a lot of gems, but she was very clear about it. Without a doubt, she was the one who had sent those gemstones to the

Moonshine Trading House as an elf, so how come it became a situation where the Moonshine Trading House

privately traded for gems with humans?

“Then, do you know where the elves of the Moonshine Trading House are right now?” Shen Yanxiao did not think

that this crime would simply end in closing the shop.

“Oh… this… esteemed customer, you should also know that the Moonshine Tribe has been demoted because of their

close relationship with human beings, right? Now, they actually did not learn how to repent, but still traded for gems

with humans privately. According to the regulations, the City Lord arrested many of the elves of the Moonshine

Tribe and now they should be detained in the dungeons of the City Lord Residence.” The elf very honestly told Shen

Yanxiao about the news he had heard.

Shen Yanxiao’s expression could not help but turn grave.

She was very sure that the gems in the Moonshine Trading House were all given by her. Right now, the Moonshine

Trading House was bearing such a crime, and she was afraid that she could not get away from the responsibility.

“Thank you.” Shen Yanxiao thanked the elf before she immediately turned and left.

The elf grabbed his head and muttered to himself, “It’s truly a young hero, at such a young age, she already entered

the Silvermoon Guards.”

Shen Yanxiao left the trading house and immediately contacted Vermillion Bird. Vermillion Bird was already on the

way to Jadeite City, traveling as fast as he could.

Shen Yanxiao thought that the elves of the Moonshine Tribe had probably been implicated by her and thrown into

prison, making her mood extremely heavy. She did not wait for Vermillion Bird and went to the City Lord

Residence first.

Shen Yanxiao did not go directly to the City Lord Residence of the Jadeite City, but quietly sneaked into the

dungeon instead.

She must first figure out what was going on and think of the best way to solve the situation.

The dungeons of the elves were not as dark and damp as Shen Yanxiao had imagined. In fact, these so-called

dungeons were in a relatively spacious yard where sunlight could shine through the iron bars. The conditions in the

dungeons were also neat and tidy.

Because of the nature of the elves, the number of elves who had been convicted of a crime was very small. Even for

those who had committed a crime, their sin was really not something considered major. Crimes like murder and

arson had never happened on the Moon God Continent.

Whether it was in the past or now that pollution had been spreading, in essence, the elves were still holding on to

their moral bottom line, even if their minds had been affected by the pollution.

There were only two elves standing guard at the door to the dungeons of the City Lord Residence, while there was

no one guarding inside.

Shen Yanxiao slipped in easily. She surveyed the huge dungeons and saw that the first few cages were empty.

Before she could arrive at the end, she heard a slightly frivolous voice that usually belonged to a prick.

“There is no need to look so sad. The accommodation here is not that harsh. Just relax, even if you become even

more depressed than how you currently are, it will not change anything. Right, I have fresh fruits here, do you want

one?”

That voice had a hint of a smile, without the slightest tension in it. Shen Yanxiao then saw a hand sticking out from

the left cage in the distance, and a fruit the size of a palm rested on that hand as it was being flashed from the

opposite cage.
