The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1242 – Modification Of The Purple Baron (Chapter 1)

Chapter 1242 – Modification Of The Purple Baron (1)

After helping settle An Ran’s matter, Shen Yanxiao began to be laden with grief due to her own matters.

Shen Yanxiao ran out of the tree house with An Ran’s red longbow and her Purple Baron, and sighed at the sunset.

If human beings could really not use the bows created by the elves, it was definitely a major blow to her plan to

collect a big sum of money!

She was already ready to receive a big profit, okay? Please don’t turn out to be a sham!

In order to verify whether her thoughts were correct, Shen Yanxiao attached human dou qi to the red longbow and

shot an arrow into the tree trunk at the side.

The arrow directly went into the trunk, without leaving even an inch of it outside.

“Ah, shouldn’t it not work?” Shen Yanxiao blinked her eyes. The elf’s bow could actually accept dou qi. Only, since

it wasn’t inlaid with any magic nucleus, the power produced was a tad bit low.

But why was her Purple Baron unable to accept the power of the source of life?

‘You have forgotten one thing.’ Xiu’s slightly cold voice sounded in Shen Yanxiao’s mind.

“What?” Shen Yanxiao asked.

‘The Purple Baron is inlaid with crystallic nuclei. The crystallic nucleus comes from the demons, and it contains the

corrosive dark elements of the demons. Meanwhile, the source of life of the elves represents light and growth. The

reason why the Purple Baron seemingly cannot accept the power of your source of life is very likely that the dark

elements in the crystallic nuclei collide with the power of your source of life, and these two forces cancel each other

out.‘ Xiu Explained.

“…” Shen Yanxiao turned silent. She was hoping that Xiu’s conclusion was correct.

She immediately took out the Purple Baron and carefully examined the crystallic nuclei embedded on it.

Each of the crystallic nuclei was covered with some small fragmentary lines, which were hard to notice if one would

not look at it carefully.

This damage of the crystallic nuclei was probably due to the collision of the dark elements within them and the

power of her source of life, which indirectly proved that Xiu’s presumption was indeed right.

“Then, I now feel reassured.” Shen Yanxiao breathed a sigh of relief. “But doesn’t that mean that while I’m an elf, I

can’t use the Purple Baron?” Shen Yanxiao felt a little sorry.

The Purple Baron was her first bow. She had been using it for a long time already and felt very comfortable with it.

Even if she now had a red longbow to use in place of it, she felt less comfortable than when she was using the

Purple Baron.

‘If you really would like to be able to use the Purple Baron, you can find a craftsman among the elves to help you

modify it. The elf craftsmen have a high degree of knowledge about bows, they should have a solution.’

Shen Yanxiao stroked her chin and her eyes flashed with a smile.

The advanced training camps were closed almost every day; unless a new batch of elves entered, or if a batch of

elves had finished their training period, the gates would not be opened.

Aside from those times, the elves within the training camp were unable to leave.

However, this was only for the common elves. For Shen Yanxiao, a thief who even dared to venture over the

heavens and earth, it was not difficult to slip out of the advanced training camp.

Since she returned early today, and she wanted to transform the Purple Baron as soon as possible, Shen Yanxiao

immediately set off.

The security of the advanced training camp was very tight, but for a certain someone who could get in and out of the

Long Xuan Empire’s treasury at will, such security was simply a piece of cake. Without much effort, Shen Yanxiao

slid out of the advanced training camp area and sneaked into a black-level city.

The dusk reached its end and the night finally fell. Shen Yanxiao was wearing a brown cloak as she walked on the

street of the black-level city called Wind City. The prosperity of black-level cities was greater than that of the

Jadeite City. Although it was already night, many elves were still hanging out on the street under the brilliance of

the light-congealing crystals on both sides of the street.
